Hello All,

I desperately need some urgent help in making a decision whether to purchase this piece or not that I was offered today. Its a rare pink MOP with rose gold setting VCA watch with only 150 pcs ever made. I truly loved the piece but I am wondering if its worth the investment for a watch or it doesnt hold its value like Cartier? I intend to keep it but there comes a time after 5 or 7 years down the line where I like rotating my pieces, and my second concern is whether I should go for VCA watch because i loves the pink MOP or make a less emotional decision and purchase a Rolex, Cartier or Jaeger for the same price?

Attached are the pictures of this stunning piece. Sorry for the blur, took them in a hurry.

Thank you so much lovelies!

I dont intend to sell it, but in the future after many years if I plan to for any reason, I would like to invest in something that doesn't lose its value specially if its almost $20,000. Thats what I mean.
There is no guarantee on what will keep its value years down the road in spite of a it being a limited edition
$20,000 is a significant amount of money to invest in the VCA watch & not so sure that this
is the best choice having those expectations, There are better options, IMO

I think that particular VCA, as a watch, is going to be tougher to match to what you wear than a Rolex.
I disagree that Rolex is any more “in your face” than other luxury accessories. Most people don’t even look or notice.
You wear things for your own pleasure. Get what you love and can wear often, not because of future value or because of what others might think.

Any Tom Dick and Harry spot a Rolex and recognise a Rolex while for other brands such as Piaget, Breguet or A. Lange, people might have no clue and that's part of the reasons why some people prefer Rolex not only for the quality but there's a flexing element in it. Am not saying that anyone who owns a Rolex is in for the flexing, after all, people do like a quality watch that is still within a good price point.
