Mistakes do happen, ive had stuff delivered to neighbors one most recently a personal letter that my neighbor opened up and read before bringing it to me. However yours could have been a very high priced mistake and this is why sig confirmation exist. I'm concerned about UPS signing your name when they did not really deliver it to you. Whenever I have had high price items come to my home they knocked on the door and made sure to see me then they signed for it (due to covid). Its pretty messed up to do that in my opinion and shouldn't be happening. I would file a report with UPS.
