Hello everyone,

I haven't been on the forum for a long time and need a little advice / words of encouragement. A couple days ago Louis Vuitton online had a black Neverfull MM in Empreinte back in stock and I ordered right away along with a 6 ring key holder in Damier Graphite. For shipping time it stated it would not get here by 05/07 (Friday). To my surprise, on 05/06 it was packaged and shipped and I would receive it on 05/07 with UPS confirmation. On 05/07 I was at work, my husband and his brothers were home. They helped me stalk down the UPS guy and I texted my husband that whole morning to make sure to keep an eye for UPS since the estimated time was given for delivery was between 9:45am to 12:45pm. As I was texting him around 11:38am and I was watching my house cameras it stated the package was signed by me/ I was at work 40 minutes away and long story short only I have my last name in my house. No one saw UPS driving up our street (we live in a cul de sec), my husband ran out into the street and looked up and down NOTHING not one car past by. I called Louis Vuitton during my lunch break and the only thing they can do is open a case with UPS, the rep stated since the package was released to UPS, they cannot do anything but wait for UPS to respond. The rep did assure me, UPS has a tracking gps device in their trucks so they have to look through that to confirm where it was last dropped off. This process will take up to 14 days. I am thinking the worst case scenario will happen since my luck isn't great. People around me assure me since its a high priced delivery, UPS have to do something. I still think I will be stuck paying for the bill and not getting anything in return. SO MANY THOUGHTS ARE FLOATING IN MY HEAD ITS MAKING ME NUTS. I haven't shopped with LV for years and this is my welcome back. Thank you for the great memory.

I don't know where else to share this, other than here. Have a fun read and enjoy your weekend everyone. =)

Call LV and tell them what happened. They will open a case and contact UPS. UPS will likely contact you to confirm the story and have you sign an affidavit. You will probably get a refund.

I had this happen to me. Misdelivered my LV item to the wrong address, but didn’t get a signature. They used my street name as signature of person. I was super freaked out but called LV and the above is how it played out. Got a refund, never got my item (someone got lucky).

Update: Everything is resolved. I called my credit card company and asked what is the time frame for a charge back if the issue is not resolved. They said I had 60 days to file a claim. An hour ago, my next door neighbor called my husband and they had my packages since yesterday night, not sure when they dropped it off. They did not sign for it, UPS left them in a hidden part of their yard. She said UPS always leave packages at her house from our street and the street over. She do not work for them, UPS just dumps them at her house a lot. I called Louis Vuitton and told them to cancel the claim and UPS left my items at the wrong house. If my neighbors were horrible people I would of been out of a bag and money because they were on my street. Lesson learn, I will not order Louis Vuitton online, unless I am camping outside my yard on day of delivery.

This is not fair we have to run around looking for these packages. When UPS is responsible, and will deny any claim. One time they told my husband to file a police report for a $300 package they lost.

I was looking for this bag for over a month. I see the turtle dove color pop up time to time, but the black one is like a rare unicorn. Hopefully you can find it next cloee.

I have not had a problem with UPS - I live in Canada and tracking is pretty good as goods need to clear Canadian customs before delivery. The UPS driver who does the route for my area/street literally knows my house - he's practically been here at least once a week and I can almost time him when he would get to my house

I'm glad you were able to resolve this and your neighbors confirmed they have your package (I had an Amazon package delivered to the wrong address and never got it - sucky neighbors here!). I would maybe send stuff to your work if possible or pick up in store for future.

A little bit off topic but I posted this in another thread six months ago (as part of a joke!). I guess UPS really do drop off items at random locations.

I'm happy you got your parcel. You have really nice and responsible neighbours. <3 But the item should really be delivered to your home. It's a high cost item!

Yeah, once UPS said I signed for a package and I had NOT, was still at work. So I was really worried and raced home after work to find my package deposited in front of my home. So wrong.
