ok so i've realized how picky i am ugh.well today i came across this A. Jaffe ring thats very beautiful.can't really remember the stats but i think it was either SI1 or 2 and the color was H.it was 1 5/8 ctw....its 18k how does that hold up?ugh i'm getting old i can't remember swat when it comes to the stats of this ring.i took some pics while looking at it sorry about the quality but they were with my iphone.

what do you all think?anyone familiar with this designer?i went to the site and seen some drool worthy designs.

please click on the pics to get a better shot for some reason i'm pic posting challenged today. Also i have another ring i have in my possession but thinking about taking it back.i also tried on a 1 ct H or I VS2 princess cut solitaire and matched it up with a gorgy eternity band.at this point i'm confused.i'm thinking long and hard.i will upload the other ring as soon as i can find the cord that goes to my digicam.

i do love the halo style and how the diamond is floating too.

I've done my homework and want quality over size so i will get it right very soon even if that means going without a new upgrade until after the new yr(doing all that xmas shopping has done me in).if i do wait then i'll wait till my 10yr and get a rock :smile1:

I love A Jaffe settings!

If I were you, I'd visit pricescope.com to educate yourself on diamonds and settings. As you'll learn, cut (not the shape, but the skill of cutting the rough) is crucial to any diamond purchase. This is a big purchase and I think the more you know before you commit, the happier you'll be.

I prefer the halo style myself - just up the clarity since the one you posted is an I2 since you said clarity was important to you. Otherwise, I think you've found some gorgeous options!

This style is on the top of my list along with the solitaire (i can't believe this because i've never been into those) so i'm going to research this style for one with amazing specs so....to be continued:nuts:

ok ahertz i'm going there right now.i've been a lurker but only in the celeb section.as far as the A Jaffe the jeweler only had 3 settings that i went to today.this one in particular i kept trying on. other than that i'd have to go to a town nearby the base or up to seattle...u have touched on something valid to me as far as the cut because i really need to know what to look for.i want something that i'd like to keep forever.
