What do you girls think?I was kinda skeptical of posting mine because i've read how some people hate big rings and clusters so please be easy on me I know everyone has different taste.

My DH surprised me with a new ring and I was excited when i learned this.I have a 3/4 princess cut that I feel like everybody and their mama got lol when we had next to nothing. This is a 3ct,I,I2...i think the I2 is discouraging me as well.

I love the setting however the center not so sure.Is there a good quality stone I can replace it with? Its light surprisingly. When I first took a glimpse I was like dang how will i function but after trying it on and stuff its light weight.I feel blessed to be able to even change rings.I remember when we were very young and DH had just proposed I had this lil crackerjack ring. Then when we had our first child he surprised me while I was preggers. It just keeps getting better!

Their is also a band to go along with this would it be too much if i got it as well?It has baguettes and round stones on each side 1 ct and same specs as my engagement ring.

Sorry pic is so big but didn't know how to resize!

Do you like the cluster set style? I think that is where we need to start. If you were choosing an upgrade, what would you choose? As far as replacing the center cluster, it depends on the setting and whether or not it can be modified to hold a single stone.

thanks girls for your input.

yeah i like the setting just not the center and at the end of the day its what makes me happy.

i'm about to reevaluate cause this may irk me for a long time.

it would make an excellent right hand ring, but i don't know if i'd wear it in lieu of an engagement ring, but of course, it's all subjective.

that being said, would it really hurt his feelings if you exchanged it? if it would, i don't know if i would have the heart to do that to my husband, especially after he went out and purchased this on his own.

you mentioned he got you a beautiful princess cut e-ring when you were pregnant, so what's the harm in wearing this one on your right hand then?

or, if you dislike it or hate it that much, then you should be honest because i can't imagine wearing something i hated for the sake of feelings.

i'm sure your husband would understand either way.

good luck!

I am not sure if you absolutely love this style or not, but on jtv right now they are showing some rings very similar to yours, and they are super sparkly!!

Check out jtv.com if you don't have it on tv in your area and click on the recently showed items and you can see them! They actually have one with larger solitaires in the center!

I agree 100% with onegirlcreative. This is a GREAT right-hand ring, but I would not wear it in leiu of my solitaire engagement ring.

Do you think you could enjoy it more on your right hand? If not, and if you really prefer a new engagement ring, will your husband be okay if you decide to exchange it for something else?

Do you know what the value of this ring is? It would make a beautiful cocktail ring. If you're not happy with it, you should exchange it for something that's a solitaire or 3-stone or still invisible set, with a little more clarity, even if the resulting carat weight is smaller.

^^^^^Its valued at 3,000.i made him take it back a couple of days ago.that ring was not my style.want something more classic also i can wear no matter what i have on.clarity is important to me you hit it right on the head :).
