Thank you. I appreciate your feedback. I guess its a lot smaller than I realized. It’s a really small bag and an organizer would just take up the limited space.
I finally saw it too. My reaction was a bit more positive. While the metal knot eliminates the bag’s simplicity, I see that it does elevate it a bit. I think the key issue here is color. The knot looks more elegant depending on the color. I handled the bag in a light turquoise color and I didn’t love the metal knot with that. But with a darker shade it could look nice. Finally saw the larger Parachute in person and I just cannot get past that cheap looking gold knot. I think it ruins the bag but the positive is that the handle drop is longer than the original. This is a hard pass for me and I’ll continue my hunt for the originals preloved.
Agree, the pricing is daunting now on the Parachute and my other wish list piece the Cobble but then all the designer lines have really ratcheted up the prices. I found a new Cobble on Fashionphile for over $2k less than retail but it’s black - a color I don’t need.I finally saw it too. My reaction was a bit more positive. I too liked the longer strap and the larger weave works well with the bag’s proportion.
It’s the pricing that has me rattled. DH and I were just in Milan and visited both BV boutiques and it was so nice that he wanted to buy me something. But I just didn’t see anything that warranted such expensive costs.
