Would you size up in both?

They look fine to me, but not everybody is made for stacking, many people would find it unconfortable specially in the dominant hand... So, if stacking is so important to you can try to endure the discomfort so that you get use to it or upsize, but I would say don’t dispose of the smaller sizes, before buying bigger ones, as you might find that you find the clincking and moving up and down even more cumbersome...

To me there is a big difference between a 17/18 in the love. I know all wrists shapes are different but when I had the larger size in the love and JUC they just stood out more on the sides and then hit the top of my palm. I constantly felt them and never understood how people could feel like their bracelets became a part of them. In your case though, it sounds like they are bothersome in the other extreme and you constantly feel their presence by being too tight.
My wrist varies from a 15.25-16 depending on where I’m measuring.
That’s about what I lost $$ too. Good luck deciding.
I totally agree that there’s a big difference between 17/18 - I have tried the 18.

So you didn’t like when it passed your wrist bone and hit your palm? It’s funny because that’s what I’m wishing mine would do lol. My wrist measurement is just about the same as yours, if not a tad larger measuring about 16.25 my wrist bone.
So you have 17 Love and 16 JUC now?

Sorry to hear you lost some big $$ resizing, but are you happy with your decision?

Yes, your point to stacking is key as I never had an issue with the one Love.

Also very smart idea about not selling my smaller ones before purchasing larger. My SA (who is no stranger to my size dilemma) is adamant that I won’t like them clinking up and down, but we know the grass always seems greener.... thanks for the input.

Yes, I had a 18 love and a 17 JUC. I now have the 17 loves/and a 16 JUC.

Mine fall below my wrist bone now but they do not hit the meat of my palm. With the larger sizes, I couldn’t even clean my kitchen without a sweatband bc they would hit my countertops. I also had a hard time exercising with the larger sizes without a sweatband bc there was too much movement. I play a lot of tennis and run and prefer the snug fit for my lifestyle. I’ll try to post some pics later

I know this is a few weeks old, but it seems it will cost me a bit more than anticipated if I want to size up in both, about $4k give or take.

I’m very torn because it’s a lot of money that could be saved for new jewelry in the future, but I know I will be reluctant to buy more Cartier at these sizes. The poll results are currently 50/50, and I know it’s all about preference, but I think I’d prefer them looser to clear my wrist bone. Anyone have additional input? I just can’t seem to drop it!

Even more photos for reference... this is how much they move on my arm; not quite as much as I’d like. First is as far towards my hand as they go, second is down my arm. I guess I know I’d prefer the larger sizes, just not sure if it’s worth the money when these do fit OK.

The fit of your bracelets is actually very similar to my fit. My wrist is 14.5 and I wear a 15 JUC and 16 loves. My bracelets have no issue clearing my wrist bone. When I initially tried the size 17 love, the bracelet would fall onto my palm and I personally found it annoying.

But from following this thread it really seems to me like you would like to size up. While it does seems like a lot of money to size up, I feel like it would be worth it in your case to do so. It sounds like it would be more comfortable for you. Also, if you plan to add more to your stack in the future it would make your stack feel tighter than it currently does so sizing up might be better in the long run.

As others said, I think the sizes looks fine when worn alone. But when stacking it seems to be an issue for you. You should be comfortable with how they wear or fit on you. Comfort is key especially since these are forever pieces. I have 3 different color Love bracelets and I never stack them. It just isn't my thing. I think the clanking of them would drive me crazy. On a man, I really don't like the look of more than 2 Loves or a Love and a JUC. Anything else just seems like too much on a man.

However, if you are going to wear lots of bracelets, you may have to go up size wise because as they go higher up your arm, there will be less space between your arm and the bracelets, and when standing the weight of the higher ones will press against the lower ones. Wishing you luck with whatever you decide.

I’ve definitely reconsidered adding more to my stack after this experience haha. And your point about the weight of it causing the issue is totally true. It’s when the Love rests on the edge of the JUC I feel more pressure. Seems so silly I NEVER thought I’d be writing this. Figured I’d buy my bracelets and be done.

Yes, I think deep down I want to size up and I know it. Thanks for the clear, honest opinion.

I SO know how you feel. I use to CONSTANTLY question if I should have gone up in size (even 7 years after purchasing) BUT, I've finally stopped because I just accept that some days I'm not going to feel the bracelets on my arm and other days I'm going to want to remove them (I never actually do though)~ to me that's just part of wearing something 24/7, they aren't always going to be totally comfortable and that's okay. I also realized that when I add to my stack there is a definite adjustment period and it makes me question sizing all over again
In a perfect world I would probably have stacks in different sizes but that's not doable for me.
Good luck with whatever you decide!

I think the fact that the size is still bothering you means you need to get a different size. If you’re not happy, what’s the point? They are so expensive that you need to absolutely love them

I don't blame you for stewing over your current situation. However, can you remeasure your wrist bone once again? It is advisable to measure the wrist BONE and not other areas of your arm for fit accuracy. When it comes to these bracelets, every quarter of a cm makes a difference; therefore, stating your wrist ranges from 16 -16.5 cm is a huge range and difference in my opinion.

I consider the following fits:

1 cm = tight fit (anything less than this difference, I would never advise)
1.5 cm = exact fit (some people prefer this fit, but more prefer the loose fit on this forum from what I have read)
> + 1.5 cm (anything greater than 1.5 cm) = loose fit (for women, this is my preferred fit)

My personal opinion is that men should wear a tight fit or possibly an exact fit (I would equate this fit as a loose fit for men), depending on personal preference.

Therefore, I think you should decide which fit you prefer first, and then do the math for the different sizes you are considering as I think that will give you your best fit.

I would personally hold on to the items and not do anything rash until you do the above.

Thanks so much, everyone. I feel like together we’ve explored every possible avenue.

I texted my SA (who I’m sure at this point thinks I’m insane) to set up an appointment to try both bracelets in the next sizes up. (I have tried both before, but at separate times, not together.)

Update: Appointment officially made for Thursday - time to calm this craziness.

Hello All,

For anyone who’s curious, I had my Cartier apt today and decided to size up.

I tried on the WG Love in 18 as he didn’t have YG, but it’s being couriered up to this store in a couple hours. Only took a pic with the JUC on, but I love it so much more already.

It’s definitely a big difference in size, but it feels so much more comfortable and I think looks more proportionate to my wrist size
