So I louped it while I was filling up my gas tank after a lovely lunch with Patty, and there is one stone with a chip in the girdle. I don't know if Ill bother messing with that because I don't know if they can swap it out without ruining the prongwork. The stones are sort of "set in" from the edges like the other ring was, so I might just leave it.

ANyway..I got a pic with my phone with the loupe over the camera lens to try to show the prongs. Not sure if this helps or not. I tried it a few times and this was the best one.

If there hadn't already been such huge problems with actually having the ring on your finger made to your specifications, then taking it in to take care of the prong would be feasible. But I agree to let it go.

It's gorgeous AME! I think I'd leave it alone, especially since you're so happy with the ring overall.

I would let it go.

It's really not that noticeable and those kinds of things happen with everyday use anyways.
not to my rings lol. I don't use my left hand for anything more than typing and writing and holding my drink with rings on, at all, ever, non negotiable. lol

I think I will let it go. I don't want to go through all the possible hassles. And it's not visible without mag. It's also not that bad. Not ideal but whatever. I let the jeweler dude know (well really I let HER know) just so they're aware for the future. But I am pretty pleased. It is SO dainty and looks awesome with just that and the plain band without the ering... lol

This quote from Leonard Cohen always makes me smile when things like your chipped stone happen:

Forget your perfect offering.
There's a crack in everything.
That's how the light gets in.

Enjoy your band; happy this has all been resolved for you after this long wait!

THANK YOU! Great lyrics from a brilliant man!
