Cavalier Girl & Chaz-I mean who knew we had a ready made necklace in our hands!I mean one can shorten it to be closer to the neck as well depending on the look you want.Or if you chose tie it with leather instead of the H string its up to you.

I took off the brown string & attached it to my H horn scarf ring & tada a new little necklace for free casual & cute!I love it!!

Diva999, I used your idea and love it! Also breloque as scarf ring (a variation I realized belatedly of your breloque as glove holder)

Also, I think I got this idea to use double tour as part of a halter top from this thread and from dogbiskit's tops with necklaces. YOu can also use a twilly - here it is with a one shouldered scarf as top (70 cm)

I thought a twilly was essential, bought one, ignored it for awhile and then used it for both straps for a GM as long dress (which has yet to make it out of the house lol) and as a handle tied tightly from the hardware of a vintage kelly. (can you tell I'm bored and cannot sleep lol)

Thanks Diva and all. I am so happy to have found this thread again. I am really trying to wear stuff I already have. . . So here are some more ideas for twilly as scarf ring and scarf as a top, folded into a triangle with wide base tied around waist or hips. For those who want more room around the neck, I jsust did your necklace and tied the scarf to it (hope you don;t mind me loading several pics -- its raining, i'm baking pound cake and there is nothin' else to do this Sunday Of course, instead of the bolduc ribbon, a twilly would work.
