URGENT NOTICE!!!
If anyone has already bought their travel ticket can you find out if you are able to adjust the date as the rioting is quite a scary thought atm attendees are trying to decided whether or not travel down to london for the meet so please do not buy tickets atm!!! until we know when this horrid mess will be sorted as it may get worse!

They actually tried to break into the Birmingham LV store but LV staff had the good sense to remove everything from window displays and shelves!

Good point. It is a sad situation, but for all our safety, we should postpone until some sort of peace has been restored.

These silly looters, raiding JD Sports and Primark lol
I'd go for Hermes and Chanel if I was them!

Jokes aside, yea, we were sent home early yesterday at work (at 5pm)

A number of businesses boarded up their displays, not a nice sight :(

Well. Ive booked my ticket and i am still going. Unless those snotty little chavvy oiks are standing infront of LV ofr Christian Louboutin im very much still doing my shopping.

My wonderful hubby is going to come with me, But i suspect it is to watch my spending!

I can think of so many names to call these idiots but I couldn't possibly write on here what I would call them, I just hope they are made an example of & given the maximum sentence.

We was all looking forward to the meet & they have ruined it for everyone.

To those living South of the Border - I am in Scotland - my thoughts are with all of you living through the violence.

If you decide to postpone please let me know as I am away on hols to Canada for the original date and would love to meet my southern sisters (and brothers) at some point in time.

I deeply p****d off about this! I don't condone violence but i'd love to sm**k them upside their heads and ram a couple of pairs of those looted trainers where the sun doesn't shine!

^^^ I hope we can still make it for the 20th of August as it seems all is back to normal we have been to central london and battersea twice this week and all seems fine, Heychar pls let us know as I shall not be able to do Sept. as going away then. Thank you:smile1:

Hey ladies,

I have arranged to go elsewhere this weekend due to it being postponed! so I would now not be able to make it! Eeeek :tdown:
...but I am more than willing if not insist on still arranging it for anyone that still wants to go this weekend!
I will still go ahead and book the table etc and send the PM's to all interested if you want me too! Please let me know asap :hugs:
