I don't know about the classic short, but I got the sundance in my regular size and I wish I would have gone down one size. I still wear them because I typically don't return stuff, but they feel a bit "sloppy" when I wear them because they're a little big.
Hope that helps.

Guys, if I have a 23.7cm foot what size Ugg should I go for? I beg for your help as this is driving me mad!

Size 6 US is initially perfect but ends up slipping on the heel post stretching.
Size 5 US feels extremely tight with my toes going to the very end of the boot.
:shrugs::hysteric:

I want to know what I should officially be considering with my 23.7cms!

You are meant to buy them snug, mine were snug to start with but they do stretch......it's just the way they are. You shouldn't buy the smaller ones if they felt extremely tight on your toes.

What size shoes do you normally wear? I wear a 9 but bought a 7 in my Uggs

Thank you Mooks. I think I may have an awkward foot as it is very, very slim indeed which is perhaps why it is slipping at the heel?

I am in the UK and usually take a 4.5 to a 5, usually a 5 as many shoes don't come in half sizes. I suppose the conundrum I am having is that there seems to be so much variation between sizing charts and Ugg size recommendations from folks online, I just can't work out what I should aim for because nothing feels quite right. I believe a UK size 4.5 is around a US 6 or 6.5? Thusly one would imagine that US size 5 should be the size I go for but that feels very tight, my toes come right to the end.

My big question is do these really, really stretch that much? People seem to suggest the wool interior flattens and, with pressure, the skin will stretch a heck of a lot. If they stretch that much then maybe I should take the pain and try and make the size 5 stretch out? I guess it may be better than the pain of a boot which is loose at the heel and rubbing? :confused1:

I'm so bummed because I simply adore these boots and want to buy more but am still totally unconfident about sizing! I tried the Ugg inserts in the larger size thinking it would solve the problem but it felt horrible with the arch support and raised my foot too high and my big toe stuck right into the top of the boot and showed very obviously.

For those of your who have changed your Ugg insoles after a while, did you use the the Ugg ones with the arch support or do they do a flatter version? :cursing:

Why is it that everyone else seems to be able to size down 1-2 sizes in Uggs and for me 1.5 sizes down is so, so tight?

Where did your toes come initially? In the bigger size I have a good inch between where my toe comes and the end of the boot BEFORE it flattens out. In the smaller size my toes are RIGHT at the end. I am genuinely between sizes and it drives me mad!

Hmm.....I think you may be better to go down in size then as they do stretch out quite alot and the sheepskin does compact down quite quickly. The sizes I stated above are US sizes, so I normally wear a UK 6 and if the Ugg conversion is correct then I actually wear the equivalent of a 4 in Uggs!

I have a pair of UGGs. And they definitely stretch. I got them in US size 7s and they fit perfectly. Then after a month of wear, the shoes actually stretched, so now my size 7s are too big. I would go down a size.

Hi Girls! I am a women's size 8 in Ugg's and was wondering if a kids size 6 would fit me?? Does it matter whether they are girls or boys or can I just get a kids size 6. Anyone else a wome's size 8 and wear a kids size? TIA!!!!!!!

I think if your an Uggs size 8 then the kids won't fit. If your a size 8 in other shoes (not uggs) then they MAY fit, it just depends. I wear a size 7.5 in other shoes but the kids ugg didn't fit but some people say they do fit. But, my toe was too close to the front for my liking. I would buy from zappos bc they have easy exchanges in case you need to swap sizes.
