I can't believe I didn't decide to buy a pair of these sooner. I've always loved the way they looked but never bothered to try and get a pair for myself. I think I'm going to because I wear a lot of brown and they would just look so cute with my jeans tucked into them.

So, my question: Im usually an 8 1/2 when it comes to shoes, but I'm not too sure about Uggs. Do they run small or large--or right on target? The ones I need are on backorder but they have them in a 9 so I'm wondering if they would fit me.

Also, do you girls tuck your jeans into them? I think that looks so cute but I don't know if that's the thing to do anymore. I would wear them with my jeans over them as well but I was just curious.

i'd wait for an 8.

i wear a 6 1/2-7 1/2 depending on the make/model of the shoe. my first pair of uggs (during the craze three or four years ago) i got in an 8 simply because that's all i could track down. that was a pair of ultra short. they were wearable, but hurt after wearing them for a few hours because they ARE too big, so the friction just leads to blisters, etc. my second pair, which i got two years ago were the classic tall. i got those in a 7 and they're still a little roomy, but i am in canada a lot and have to layer socks, etc. so they work for me.

definitely don't get the 9...

I'm between a 9-10 and I wear a 9 in UGGs.

My mom is an 8.5 and she wears a size 7 in UGGs.

If ordering them from online, I'd suggest getting 2 pairs, one in size 7 one in size 9 and returning the pair that doesn't fit as well as the other

I'm also between 9-10 and I buy the 10 because my feet swell and they just feel better. I did buy a 9 when first starting out and they just weren't as comfortable. I don't like to tuck my pants in because then I can't feel the softness inside....I always wear my Uggs barefoot!

Thanks for the advice, girls. I actually ordered a size 7 in the sand. Got them yesterday, tried them on, and I STILL have room to spare in them. I think a 6 would be too small, but the 7 fits pretty good so I'm going to keep them. They're very comfy!

UGGs sizes depend on the style of the acutal UGG boot: Classic fits true to size, Ultra/Sundance you will have to size down. I wear size 8 (US) and take 8 in Classic but 7 in Ultra/Sundance. I hope this helps.

Hello ladies,

Just finalizing buying a pair of pink UGGS! Had a couple of qs tho - I live in Minnesota, and the winters here are harsh. Of course I wouldn't walk thru thick snow in them, I'd walk on the sidewalks. However, my q is: are they slip-resistant?? I have a problem keeping my balance on icy surfaces when I wear regular shoes, so I'm hoping will have rubber soles that would help for balance in winter! Also, I've noticed a lot of people posting that they are comfy without socks, I'd like to hear more opinions. And lastly, how do they run size-wise? I normally wear a size 5.5 in sandals and other open shoes, and a 6 for boots and sneakers, counting for sock space. What size would I buy for Uggs? Are they comfy? I'd love to hear opinions!

Thanks! :D

I have UGGS and love them. You should be a bit safer from slipping on ice but again, it's ice so really you could slip either way. I wear mine without socks, they feel so good on your feet but if I go out in them...if it's really cold I would wear socks with them. About sizing, if it's possible, I would try them on a store before purchasing them. Mine are true to size but I think I know mine have stretched a bit because of the material. I also suggest you get the water-repellant spray. It really works and you can apply it over and over again. It really does protect your UGGs from the water or stains. I hope this helps.

I have UGGs and love them! I live in Germany, and we get some pretty snowy and cold winters sometimes. I walk through the snow in my Sand uggs (my oldest pair) and they've always kept my feet dry and warm, so you could do it. With pink ones, it may leave water spots, so I'd recommend spraying them with a protective spray before your first wear.

I've found them to be pretty slip resistant, but they're not the best. I do have better winter boots that don't allow me to slip as much, but UGGs pretty much do the job.

UGGs are VERY comfortable without socks! I've worn them with socks once, and it was weird. The sock felt very tight around my foot and kept twisting, so after that - no socks!

I wear a size 9.5 - 10 and have a size 9 in UGGs. I'd suggest a size 5 for UGGs, depending on the series and type you're buying. Are you looking at the Classic or Ultras? Classics run big, I've heard Ultras run more to size.

Yes, they're comfy. Love love love them! Can't wait till winter :D
