Two-tone watch: Cartier or Rolex

I currently own a stainless steel Rolex Datejust with jubilee band, fluted bezel, and mother-of-pearl dial and diamond markers. I wear it every day. I want to purchase a two-tone watch. I am looking at a ladies two-tone Rolex Datejust that has a two-tone jubilee band, a yellow gold diamond bezel (of just over 1 ct), and a gold dial. My other choice is the Ladies Cartier two-tone tank with white dial. I think that the two Rolexes would be quite different even though they have similarities, but I've always wanted a Cartier too. Which would you choose and why?
i will go for the cartier roadster, here some pics of the rolex 2 tone and the cartier rodster 2 tone, hope that can help.

I've tried the Cartier Roadster on before and it's too big for me. I'm very petite (5'3", 99 pounds). It's a lovely watch, but it's not for me. I chose the two-tone tank (in the smallest size) because it fit me better.

I think you made a great choice, so perfect being able to have both Rolex and Cartier.
Every time I wear my Cartier Tank, I just love it more!! Please post the pics when you
get it and hope it gets here before your birthday!!

The Roadster is an Awesome watch, but is now discontinued, no more productions! I love my roadster, it's classic and trendy too! I think the tank is a little out dated, sorry just my opinion, small gals can Rock large watches too!

I can't wait for pics bec. a SS tank francaise in the smallest size is on my wishlist too. First I plan on getting the two tone Cartier santos galbee in the smallest size. I'm also petite 5"1 not quite as thin as you! I wish! I'm 105 lbs.

I like the Roadster to the ladies that have that one also, the two tone is so pretty. But I tend to think the tank fransaise and santos are more classic looking bec. they will always make them. Any time a watch gets discontinued imho eventually that style looks dated, in lets say 10-15 yrs. With a bag, like the Fendi spy which comes to mind, it's even sooner than that, that it looks dated. To me a Cartier tank or the santos, but more so the tank, is as classic as a strand of pearls. Sure people can think pearls are dated looking too lol.:p

I think just the older version of the Roadster is discontinued, the Roadster S is still in production. The Cartier Tank is a watch that has reached icon status, there's no such thing as out dated when it comes to the Tank. It's still one of the most popular watches made by Cartier. It is not trendy. I would love to own one and can't wait for pics!

I think the tank is a classic that is not considered outdated, which is why I've already purchased it. Again, the Roadster is fine, but not for me. I agree that small gals can rock large watches, but there is a limit. My wrists are so small that I can not wear bangle bracelets because they slide right off. My bone structure is very petite.
I think that small gals can rock large sunglasses too, but if you're not careful, you can end up looking like an Olsen twin, which is fine, if you actually are an Olsen twin, but sadly, we are not....:p
