Turning down a Hermes Bag offer

Is the Danse sought after? It's pretty obvious to my SAs that I ask only for bags I like and not what people chase for and I have declined quota bags many, many times before. I would be honest and tell my SAs why, especially if it is close but not exactly what I want. That way they are reminded of my collection, know I choose carefully, am discerning, patient and sometimes has resulted in a surprise SO offer so that we can order the exact specs together.

I would think the Danse is pretty sought after. From the people I ask, they would all prefer to get a Danse over a classic Kelly for it's versatility. And also it's harder to get the right size for the Kelly. But to each their own. And my SA knows exactly what I want and is okay with it. It was nice of her to just offer though as she remembers I like neutrals.

Hi guys, I just wanna to know if I have already rejected two constance 24 what will happens next...
Do I have to wait very long for the next???
if i take it, will I need to purchase more for the bag Im looking for???

As @tlamdang08 said, nothing will happen but I would clarify with your SA what you are looking for in terms of colour combinations (highly recommend checking the Reference forums if you are undecided) so they or their manager don’t feel like you’re rejecting for no reason. Good luck on the hunt and hope you find your dream combo soon! :flowers:

If you reject a pricey bag that you don't really love, what will happen next is this---you will be pleased with your decision because you did not waste your money. Now, what do I think the SA will do next? That we don't know. But a good SA should understand and know what his/her client wants. If not, make sure to be more specific next time.

It sounds like you want a different bag (not a Constance 24?) and are waiting for that offer?
I would just be very honest with your SA--let them know what bag specs (style, size, colors, leathers) you would be willing to accept, and wait for that. If you purchase a C24 you don't really want, you'll spend a lot of money on something you're not happy with, and, depending on where you live/shop, you might have to make additional purchases to meet a new spend threshold to qualify for the bag that you really want.
SAs are used to people turning down offers regularly! As long as you're being specific enough with your wishlist, they should understand. As for length of time you'll have to wait for your dream bag--that's just a matter of what you want coming in to the store and not already being reserved for another client. There's no guaranteed timeline.

I think you will find hundreds of posts by members saying they rejected multiple offers with no negative effect.

Why are you being offered constances? Have you asked for a constance?

Thank you all. I used to think I would like constance 24 for long, but now I feel like having a 18 so I can wear to dinner or events.
My SA offered a Navy phw constance 24, which I can get it but I am not sure if I should get it.......
This feeling~~~

Nothing will happen as long as you keep your SA informed on which bag/specs you are looking for and even when would you rather have it so they don't offer you your deam bag when you are low on funds.

Also it might help if you also let them know what type of bags you are not interested in. Sometimes my SA would offer me some bags I wasn't considering but after seeing them in person I would change my mind and end up buying them.

It all depends on your relationship with your SA and how much he/she knows your taste and style.

In the end don't let pressure get you to buy something you don't want.
