Go for the 32 sellier PHW if you want the Renee Z. look! IMO, it’s very chic casual precisely because it’s more beat up and less pristine. I’m about to pull the trigger on one myself as the prices are great. Docride can always help with patina Having said that, I love the 28 size in sellier but I barely carry anything except a wallet, iPhone and keys nowadays. I’ll post an old pic of Me in a 28 sellier canvas strap if I can find it later. Hugs

Rocker chic, I cannot find the pics on iCloud, but I have the thread wear I posted some of them in TPF years ago inserted below. I think my pics start on post 16 there and they’re primarily of me with the 28 Porc kelly sellier, but there should also be 28 BBK sellier. Back then, it was suggested to me that the 32 sellier would be too boxy on me, but Someone with my build could do 32 retourne. I declined bc I like the crisp line of sellier, but I was really in the minority opinion then.
If I recall, I am two inches shorter than you. I’m a bit heavier now, but still think the 32 sellier will be too boxy briefcase like on me, so I’m going to pass.
I do wonder if Renee was carrying a 32 or 35 and how tall she is. Maybe that will factor into your ultimate decision?

Agree it looked like a 35, Samfalstaff! I was curious, so googled Renee Z kelly Hermes and apparently she has tons of pics with different Kelly’s but rockerchics bag might be RZ’s 32 sellier croc kelly (birkin watcher has a pic of her front torso covered by the bag for another angle on size) http://birkinwatcher.blogspot.com/2011/06/renee-zellweger.html
When I was looking for Vintage 32 sellier in the last few days, the measurements varied pretty widely on both length and depth (the thinner vintage 32s were Porc or exotic, so the measurements of a some specific 32 bags might work better than others.

Ohhhhh good sleuthing!! That is most definitely the bag. So she is only a inch taller than me and I think we may be around the same weight. I may be able to pull off the 32. I do love the size of my 32 retourne.

. Apologies in advance for photo bombing TPF with these pics; but I’m so excited and love the new to me prune/plum 32 box sellier kelly. The Blue gray 28 sellier, both brushed phw and @docride rejuvenated. Size difference is substantial on the inside, but probably not nearly as roomy as your retourne. 32 Weighs more than 28, but it’s fine with a cross body strap. The blue striped strap is from Etsy seller shoulderbagstrap or some such name. The canvas one is a vintage one from brand jfa for about 500 usd. IMO, bigger bag size fashions are already coming back. Love both sizes.

Thank you so much, @ChloeClad and @Rockerchic. I wanted to add comparison shots of 32 versus 28 sellier bc IMO ones own body type and overall size can make a big difference. In other words, bc I’m bigger boned and medium frame for my height, I think the size differential is less pronounced than it would be on someone who is slimmer and smaller boned.
