Hi
Just bought a beautiful zabravushka scarf from Pollyanna 33 eBay seller . She is a wonderful seller . Being new in eBay , I paid for the item only to realise that I underpaid the postage . I highlighted to her and she was gracious enough to waive the difference . Her package arrived very beautifully packed with a card as well . It is such a wonderful experience to buy from someone who takes the effort to ensure that you are happy with the purchase .

I was interested in a bag and requested additional pictures. They responded that they were too busy to post additional pics and that they only sold authentic items. I decided then to look elsewhere.

I wish they would post more photos, if only for us to see the condition of the bags. Not all their bags are brand new, yet the photos are limited even for the preowned bags.

I would stay well clear of Createurs de Luxe; there are some horrific postings about this outfit at http://www.pissedconsumer.com

I think it's worth remembering that with sites like the one above, anyone can say pretty much anything about anyone/any business. They are basically designed for people to vent, and they do. While I'm sure many of the comments on these sites are legitimate, they also don't appear to be vetted or checked out by anyone who runs the site. Personally, I would take them with a (large) grain of salt.

I've never had any dealings with Createurs de Luxe, but I suggest that with any resale purchase, research is key. Find out as much as you can about a seller's goods, customer service, return/refund policy, past sales (if possible) and overall satisfaction level. Satisfy yourself that this is someone you are comfortable doing business with. I think if you find one site that has nothing but negative things to say, and others that are on balance more positive, that needs to be taken into consideration as well.

These can be large (sometimes very large) purchases and at the end of the day, buyers need to be comfortable with their sellers. Research is key!!

Another note of praise for Sandia Exchange. Beautiful authentic bag which was better than described... I also don't know what is going on with resale prices but this seems to be one of the last few places left for a fair deal.

And although she didn't have to, the bag was sent next day air noon delivery. I have waited longer for pizzas!!

I have had nothing but great transactions with CDL and Serana is wonderful to work with. It is my understanding they take returns if one isnt happy. As many bags as they handle I would be surprised if they sold a fake. CDL does negociate off ebay and frankly they get some AMAZING bags from time to time. I have found CDL to be very professional. Each person is of course responsible for thier own transaction with them but I would buy again, in a heartbeat if there was something I wanted and I was satisfied with the price.

I have opened up a dispute with paypal for mimiaction of ebay and the "S" stamped birkin. However, mimiaction still is taking a long time to respond and is even avoiding a partial refund, as well as not working out the dispute on paypal. I'm willing to negotiate the partial refund. I believe a sale birkin back in 2001 didn't cost as much as I paid for the bag. I have 20 days post opening the dispute to file an actual claim to paypal, in which paypal will review the information and make a decision for us.

Could you please do research on the placement of the sale stamps (there are posts and photos about this elsewhere on the forum), as this thread is for Ebay/reseller feedback only. Thanks!

The S sale stamp would be on the face near the logo indicating a sale. But if your stamp is near the craftsman stamp, it probably is just to mark the year or the craftsman who made the bag. My "S" sale stamp was at the front panel of the bag, under the Hermes logo above the metal turnlock. I hope this helped!

These are rather serious accusations against CDL... as we have discussed many

times on this forum... authenticate, authenticate & take into the Hermes

boutique for a spa or initials and you then will know if the item is authentic..

would not BUY from anyone unless that stand behind their merchandise don't

care who they are or how long they have been in business.. these can be

very very costly errors in trust...
