I want a wedding band and have almost decided to get a trinity ring, PG, YG, and the white gold (the white gold is the pave diamond band). I want to have my kids names engraved in each band (I have 3 kids). Has anyone had any engraving on their Cartier bands and if so can you post a pic? I'd love to see an example of this before I fork out that kind of money :smile1:

Great minds think alike[emoji1]. My trinity is at the boutique at the moment getting engraved.
I also have 3 kids and wanted their names on each band.
If no one else post a picture, I will upload some once it's ready[emoji4]

Thanks everyone!

That is awesome frzsri! Thank you so much! I will be anxiously awaiting your beautiful pics. Can't wait to see!! :smile1: Hopefully others can chime in and post pics if they've had this done. :-)

Its hard to capture on camera the engravings. But I had my name and my husbands name in the yellow and rose gold and the third ring had the date of our wedding. Its a good idea to put your kids name in yours.

I have 2 kids, my son's name is on the WG band, my daughter's is on the YG and my husband and mine are on the PG.
The engraving is very small. I have the narrow (2.9mm size Trinity).
It makes the ring ring extremely special!

I would definitly recommend having the engraving done!
The Love ring can also be engraved.

So they can engrave it at the Cartier boutique? I've always wanted to engrave mine with my 3 kids' names but was afraid my ring would be messed up by an engraver.

Yes, Cartier will do the engraving. If I remember correctly, it is complimentary for the first 3 months after purchase. You would have to pay after that time.

I have a Trinity but it is not engraved. My husband bought me the Love ring in Paris on our honeymoon and had it engraved in French. It's hard to see from the pics, but it says De Paris Avec Amour (From Paris with Love). They even engraved a little heart before his initials. I attached a couple of pics, just so you could see what the engraving looks like. They have several different fonts and sizes to choose from.

That is simply gorgeous! How wonderful of your husband to do that!

I also have the trinity bracelet bangles. Does anyone know if they can engrave that as well?

How much is it to engrave the jewelry? I've owned mine for awhile so it's totally not in the first 3 months of purchase. I wished I was told about the free engraving when we bought all our things. We went on a Cartier spree ten years ago and it would have been amazing to get the engravings free for all of our stuff (including engraving for our watches if they can do that too). Oh well. I'm happy to learn of this service now! 😊

I think cartier gives attention to details. They didnt mess up mine. They had me check it first before I signed the papers. I believe if they mess it up or made a mistake they are gonna replace it as long as the mistake is on their part. When you write down what to engrave write it clearly and make sure the SA understand everything written. Dont use cursive. They are gonna let you choose from their list of fonts.

Trinity XXS (1.8mm) 3 bands engraved with dates (apologies for the resolution - really had to zoom in)

I received conflicting opinions from SAs about whether the mini could be engraved. It can be :)

It came out perfect.

I had them engrave my platinum 'Engraved' wedding band in capital block letters which came out much deeper and has taken a bit to wear it down. Both times they did a top notch job and double checked everything

OMG, That's gorgeous!! Love the heart and that is so sweet of your husband!! My DH would never think of something like that:D.

I didn't know you could choose different fonts/sizes, I like that option.
