Trinity Centenary collection

I finally got to a boutique to see this collection irl. I tried on the ring and really liked it, and others have said it is surprisingly comfortable.

I also was surprised how small the squares on the cushion necklace are…they really don’t have much presence for the price tag! And the SA didn’t even bother to have it sit properly…just had the 2 loose rings hanging off the one attached to the chain.

In all honesty, the experience in store really turned me off. The SA didn’t offer to get the ring in the proper size for me and basically treated me as though she judged I wouldn’t be a valuable client, even though I was wearing a Cartier ring and carrying a Chanel bag. Shopping in so-called “luxury” stores is more like being treated like dirt these days (unless you’re obviously flashy or of a certain look, who knows?). I’m done!

I’m so sorry to hear you had such a poor experience. :( I think it’s all down to the SA. I’ve had exceptional SAs and some who were just OK, nothing I’d write home about.
I don’t usually go into the boutique looking flashy as I don’t draw attention to my jewelry when out and I’ve been treated both really well and so-so.
If you love Cartier’s jewelry, I wouldn’t let a snooty SA put you off. And no, I don’t work for them. :D

Thank you for this...I really do love some of their designs and don't want to have a bad feeling about the brand. I could just order online but for such big purchases, I'd like to try things on. Why don't these retailers train their staff to be treat everyone with the utmost courtesy?!?!

Anyhoo, sorry to be off-topic! Back to the Centenury collection.... I am still thinking about the ring but would need to look at it again vs the regular round one.

I’m having a strange experience with this collection. Love it and decided to get a classic cushion ring. I originally purchased online, as suggested, my regular size. When the ring arrived it just felt too snug and was hard to roll on/off. So I had to take it to the boutique for an exchange. I got a size bigger for the same finger and walked out of the store…I was told to try it a few times at different times of the day to see if the fit was perfect. Well after a couple of days turned out that the fit was still too snug for my liking, comfortable but not perfect…so I took it back again for an exchange. I tried a size up but this rolled right off my finger so was a no-no. I nearly gave up but then thought I’d try a couple of sizes up on a different finger.
I did and the fit seemed much better. I got a size up from my regular 55 on my middle finger (have a small trinity in size 55 and it fits like a glove!), walked out of the store with size 56.
Next day when I put it on it rolled of my finger when I shook my hand:annoyed::shocked:
I don’t get it. The fit seemed fine in the store but now it looks like I have to either size down or give up on this ring. The fit is so awkward in my case.

Anyone else experienced this with Trinity Cushion (Box) ring?

I ordered the trinity medium cushion ring and I’m not sure if I will be keeping it. I was hoping the trinity ring would make it easier to mix metals comfortably.
Sizing was also strange.. I have a Love wedding band in size 60 that I wear on my right ring finger, but I wanted to wear the trinity on my middle/pointer finger, so I ordered the trinity in a size 61. It only fits the ring finger though, yet the site said to size down. I should’ve ordered the 62, but it does comfortably fit my ring finger.

Sizing on this ring is super off for me too. Did you find the right size, or decide to give up on this ring?
I think I will try the small Trinity instead.

Yes! Sizing is a bit fiddly, rolling on/off isn’t easy either in comparison to a classic round.
In the end I had to make a trip for the 3rd time :wtf: and was really considering a return. To make things worse I got a snooty-child-lacking-proper-manners to assist me when in their flagship store…
In the end my love for the design had won and I got my usual size 55 (same as my other Trinity) and it fits really nicely, I have no problems with it now and been wearing it nonstop. Maybe the whole wrong size kerfuffle was down to me feeling tired or a glitch in the matrix, don’t know but in the end it all turned out fine.

So my advice would be don’t settle for second best, try it on as many times as you have to and figure out the perfect fit. Ideally try it in store.
I’m tempted to say Trinity cushion fits true to size rather than small or big - that is if you have bigger knuckles but if your fingers are conical I’d say size down.

Sorry, yes. Unable to use “quote “. Afraid I did not make my question clear. I am curious as to the actual size, not ring size. I am new to this collection but love this aesthetic. I see that the classic comes in small, medium, large and extra large. Do not see that variety of sized for the cushion. Was wondering what size you purchased the cushion in since you love the small classic size. Also, do not have a outiqie near me, so would need to order online. Seems as though you had quite the process, but thing worked themselves out😛. Lastly, from reading this entire thread (😃) it appears cushion is only for 2024, so I need to get busy!
