I'm trying to find a jewelry gift for my girlfriend. Her family is in the jewelry business and she's very discreet when it comes to wearing jewelry pieces because of her occupation in the medical field. She only takes out the goods for events such as weddings. My dilemma is that her family is very opinionated because they're in the jewelry business.

The one thing that my girlfriend wears daily is a "blessed" string bracelet she got from a temple in Southeast Asia. Observing the jewelry or lack of that she usually wears, I was thinking of getting her a Cartier Trinity bracelet with the cord https://www.cartier.com/en-us/colle...ets/b6016700-trinity-de-cartier-bracelet.html.

I'm hoping that this item will be versatile in that she's able to change the cords to different colors if she wants a new appearance.

Any helpful feedback would be greatly helpful. Thanks!

I think it would be a great gift. I have two. I don't know if I'd be okay changing the cords myself, do you live near a boutique where they could change them to her liking?

I had one and sold it. While I loved it, I found that the cord tended to stretch out with daily use and the rings would flip to the underside of my wrist, no matter how much I tightened it. To be fair, I did shower with it since I found it hard to put back on (had to use my teeth), but maybe your girlfriend would be adept enough to not have to use her teeth!

Hi ladies, re. Trinity cord bracelet, a previous kindly mentioned that the “rings” flip to underside of wrist.

Re. Trinity chain bracelet (i.e. not the cord but the one with chain), is it the same deal? Do the rings also flip to underside of wrist? Here’s a pic from Cartier website.

TIA!

I have the love bracelet with 2 diamonds, which is kind of similar to this design and yes, the heavier portion fo the bracelet will always be moved downwards due to gravity. My solution is to make sure the chains are tied as snuggly to my wrist as possible to reduce shifting, but if i want a looser fit, the shifting is unavoidable.

I have this bracelet and the 3 rings are very light and so is the chain. It doesn't shift as much due to the rings' lightness but yes, shifting can happen if the skin on my wrist is dry, say in an air-cond office. I live in a humid country. As such, if I'm at home with the fan on, my wrist doesn't get dry and it stays in place. Come to think of it, now I'm typing away at home in my air-cond study and it just stays in place (I think my skin doesn't get as dry at home as it does in the office) :D

Does anyone have any photos wearing the Trinity chain bracelet? This one or the larger one with diamonds !

Do the rings get scratched up by the chains? Since they move around and rub against one another? Are the rings on this bracelet the same size as the rings on the version with diamonds?

No, the rings don't get scratched up by the chains. Think the chain is very fine. When I bought mine, the rings were smaller in size than the version with the diamonds but looking at the website now, it looks like the rings on both versions look the same size...?
