I am currently traveling and brought my regular size lady bag. It has proven to be a great choice, size and comfort wise. It fits perfectly under the airplane seat too.

Yes it is a perfect fit isn't it??? I fit so much in mine too--file folder, ipad, phone, charging cords, wallet, make up case, bottle of water, huge hair clip. It is feeling a little on the heavy side but I am carrying a lot. Happy travels!

Photo of my lady after four days of travel! Holding up well. Some dripping water stains and scratches but already deepening in color!
What a beautiful lady bag! I just got back from a weekend trip from Chicago and I loved using the lady bag through out. It's great that you can carry it either as a cross body or with the handle/strap. I've also traveled with the classic bucket bag before, but it was to Japan and so I felt safe even though you can't really secure the bag shut. But it worked out well when I needed to just stuff things in the bag! Thanks for letting me add my $0.02 and hope your trip is going well! :D

Thank you! I am very happy with my decision to travel with my lady! [emoji2]

Follow up post--the ladybag was the perfect travel companion. I cleaned up the bag with leather milk when I got back and it looks great. Developing that gorgeous patina. I posted a pic in the how it's wearing thread!
