I was wondering how well they sold. For me, I liked the style but none of the colors excited me as much as the eggplant does now. I never got to see them IRL. A lot of people didn't like them because they thought they looked like Dooneys, even though Coach was making bags like these in the 90's.

I'm not really thrilled about paying more just to get the eggplant color. I can't decide if I should order now so I don't have to wait to find out if I like it, knowing that it will probably hit the outlets in 4 months. Do you love yours?

I loved it the first time I saw it - and that's why I ended up with 2 - being undecided which color I wanted. To be honest - they're still in their dustbags - with tags still attached. To me, they're more a fall bag - the leather has a heavier look (I also compared to a Dooney) - I've thought about returning one, but can't decide which...every time I pull them out to look at them - I realize they're both casual, practical colors for me. I'm in CA - and it's been hot, hot, hot - my biggest reason for not using one yet...and way too many summer bags begging to be used.

I think the eggplant will be in FP longer - purples are always hot sellers - if you love the eggplant, I'd get it now (with PCE), rather than risk finding one down the road. I'd see how many JAX has too....

I'm in CA too so I wouldn't use the eggplant yet either. Thanks for enabling me! I didn't really want to wait.
