I must have missed this post, thanks for the info! So the midnight is actually a dark blue right? I love those twisted handles. $498 isn't totally awful. I will have to ask for this for Christmas!
Why is it $498? I had that bag pegged as the same price as a Regular Sophia (because that's what it looks like) which is $298-$398 (I forget which). Is it the handles? Bah! I have a feeling it's not going to be like other Sophias that have structure...it looks as if it might puddle too much, but that is just my opinion. I do hope they make other bags in this leather, though...it is absolutely gorgeous. Like a Maggie...this "Midnight" Coach is using now is a lot different than the previous Midnight...a lot darker.
I just love the details on these...the python has python handles and what *looks* to be gold hardware (but it's probably brass). There is even python looking leather woven into the chain strap.
And the leather covered lock on the croc Chelsea is just so adorable! I think any bag with a lock and clochette is just so sophisticated looking. I hope this bag comes in other colors. Black would be so awesome, I might would give up my Mad Croc Carryall for it (gasp!). But maybe not, I LOVE that bag. LOL!
