I've had bags like that before. I didn't hate the bag but it just wasn't LOVE. And for that kind of money, coupon or not, that bag better be love. Have you seen the textured Ash one yet? My SA said that her DM just got it and loves it but didn't say anything else about it. I wonder if it has the suede on it. That's pretty much a deal breaker for me.

No, I have not seen this yet! I want to order the dowel version. I'm waiting till my SA gets in or texts me so that I can place an order today, actually. :smile1: I probably will like that better just because of the texture, but I also don't really need that color either, so that's why I was hesitating. I have a lot invested in the Alexander Wang bags too, so I already have a lot of bags with the bubbly leather.

Honestly, I feel that Coach has been a bit disappointing on colors so far. Jade and a few other colors were nice, although IMO they messed the leather up on the jade (which is sad!), but I remember more vibrant colors in years past. Now you have to buy Poppy for the most part to get the more vibrant splashes of color. Yet I see other brands with colors I really love, so I have to admit I've been inching a bit away from Coach.

I also have the problem of falling in love with the prototypes that I see in the previews, and either they don't make them, or they cheapen them for the regular release... and then I am disappointed! For ex, I was really disappointed in the Madison laser cut Sophia based on what the prototype looked like! I still haven't made myself use my bronze Sophia yet either...not sure I'm going to keep that one TBH. Maybe it's lighter without the chain and metal cups on the handles, but it sure doesn't look as nice (or as expensive)!

So I have become cautiously guarded, I think, with regard to the preview lines, and I have really tried to back off from ordering so many bags sight unseen as I once used to. I used to order a ton of them, and I always feel uncomfortable returning stuff, so I have kept a lot of bags over the years that I didn't love and only returned ones I hated. Also, a lot of bags I've ordered have arrived with some sort of damage as of late, which is frustrating. So I don't think it's really a good idea to do too much of the sight unseen or ordering in general! One of my boutiques is really great to call me when they get the new bags in, and they will hold it even though it's not released for the floorset yet. That way I know I walk out with my choice bag. So I only try to order the very limited ones, or what looks like low stock, in JAX. I ordered this tote originally because the stock was very low for this color compared to the others. However, it may just have been one small shipment that arrived and they have more now? You never really know, but I will only take so many chances because I have been shut out in the past, or had BO'd bags that did sell out on backorder. I don't think that's too much of a problem anymore, though...JMO.

I will post my curry bag in about an hour or so. Sorry I was not able to get to it last night as I originally promised!

Ok, as requested, here is the Chelsea tote in curry, 17786, b4/a2f, $798. As I said on an earlier post, I'm a bit "meh" about this bag, but we'll see how I feel in a week or so...and after I order a couple of other bags and compare. It's nice, but I don't love it for some reason.

I'm sorry, I forgot who asked me about the strap drop length the other day, and I didn't revisit the older posts in this thread, but without my stuff in the bag (i.e. just paper packing), I measure a SDL of ~8". When I add my own contents, the SDL is more like ~8.5-9" at least. I think the bag will slouch more as it breaks in. I find it's very comfortable on the shoulder. I'm very short, but I love big bags anyway, and I find this one to be extremely comfortable and pretty light. At least ATM with my stuff in it, it's lighter than my Sage (either woven or leather), but sometimes that has to do with my contents being all fabric or leather. In this case I just pulled out my organizer in my other bag I'm carrying today to try in this one.

Here are the last several pics... I also forgot to post dimensions, which I received from JAX. It's 17.75" x 13.25" x 6.25". I'll measure my bag in a moment and see if that's what I get...sometimes their measurements are way off.

The last pic shows the stuff in my bag, well minus keys and a couple of things I have out ATM, but it holds a lot! I typically use an organizer for structure. This bag has very little without one.

Hmmm...I will have to see this bag in person...It seems a detail is 'missing'. I am a big fan of the original turnlocks, so these ones seems a tad small and odd to me for this size bag. Again, will have to hold it IRL!;)

Thanks for posting all the pics baglady39!!

Does anyone have some more info on this glam tote?? Colors/color codes, price, release date?? All I know is that the style number is 17884 haha. Thanks!!

That is such a great idea...a bag organizer!! I always like my bags to have structure!! I hate it when they start to slouch...I know that sounds weird haha!
