I am so sorry that you were made to feel that way! I had a feeling that something was going on as I've noticed that very few posts were being made about upcoming bags etc Actually I've noticed a drop in posts here overall! Makes me sad to think that others must be feeling as you do bunny.
Resellers are going to find out what's selling regardless--that's the nature of their game. Since joining this forum I have come to appreciate all the insiders info that you wonderful posters share with us. Please know that the majority of us do appreciate all that you bring to us!

I definitely appreciate all the great info you give us!! that everyone gives us!! resellers are going to get the info one way or another, why should we not share and enjoy just in case someone else might use it.
like ponytail said, I too have noticed a drop in posts for new stuff coming out and for what is at the outlets. I mean, it happens, people get busy or just aren't as interested in certain lines and don't come on here or go to the outlets as often but it definitely seems like(and has been said) people are getting very wary of the resellers reading. they will get the info, whether it's from here or elsewhere, it shouldn't ruin our fun!

Resellers typically aren't interested in buying full price items at the COACH boutique...they tend to hang out at the outlet where the discounts are deep enough to create enough margin to make the sale profitable.
If a reseller were going the full price route, I would guess they'd key in on the discussions about which bag is "hot", buy those bags and try to sell them (quickly!) at a premium before they hit the outlet.

I appreciate info that people share with us here. It has enabled me to purchase things that I may not have been able to find (they were only on Japan site for example)
I think some resellers have dept store ties, where they can get a discount on current season bags/accessories. The outlet is not where the money is to be made anymore. I agree that they will find out about what's coming out from SAs anyway, so it doesn't really matter if it's posted here or not.
I occasionally see bags that are out before general availability, that someone likely ordered on PCE and is selling for big $$ but not very often. It is usually positioned as a rare or exclusive bag, when in a few weeks it will be available to the masses. But I still think most of the resellers troll the outlets. If someone bought a $600 bag with PCE and then listed it at $600, most buyers on ebay don't want to pay full price. At least with outlet bags, they are still getting them for less than full price, thus the illusion of a bargain.

OMG- one of my favourite sales associates working at the Coach store where I live recommended this website as I love all things Coach. Once I came across the Fall 2011 Preview link, I shed a tear- partially 'cause this is such a fantastic website and partially 'cause my poor bank account is going to take a beating this fall!
Quick question if I may- is this bag a true red or is it more of a brown or orangey colour? If it's a true red, I am in soooo much trouble!!!

I'm glad they made the MSBs smaller personally. I love the style, but they were too big for me! I just hope that the emblem they end up with is better than in the preview pictures. After all, the original laser cut Sophia has slight differences from what was produced/is for sale now
