I liked the crimson patent but it bothered me to no end that it was smooth and not textured...the fingerprints would drive me insane! That being the case I like that we have a regular leather option

i am dying over that red leather sophia. is it weird that i like it more then the patent one on oprah?


I don't think that's weird at all: I'm there with you. I'm so glad now that I missed out on getting the red patent one, because I like that saturated red leather look of the Fall 2011 Sophia so much better. Judging from these wonder fall preview pics, that purse is my number one choice for the fall, too; it think it will be much more versatile than the crimson patent Sophia!

i dont have any patent bags, but the thought of fingerprints, possible wrinkles in the leather, the tendency to rip just kind of scared me from getting any patent bag. the purple msb is reaally tempting me, so i have to see if my fear of patent will be overcome by then.

also, im glad they made the red leather in the smooth leather version; imo red would look weird as a gathered bag!

I love the hardware - it really looks like jewelry. I esp like the 2 color hardware. Plus all the extra details.

I wish there was a way that Vlad could lock the post from comments until he has loaded all of the photos so that once you've read them all the first time and just want to go back and drool - you wouldn't have to go through so many pages to see the whole collection.

Re the logo: presumably these bags are all one-of-a-kind prototypes and could undergo tweaks before production begins. I wouldn't freak out too much about the logo.

I was all about to buy a spring bag for myself but after seeing these, I am sticking with the springy bags I already own and saving up for probably two of these fall bags instead. I prefer fall colors anyway!

I have to say this bag is extremely blah. It almost does not fit in with the rest of the collection. Looks like it should be something from Nine West or Liz Claiborne (do they even have these anymore?).
