Go to the soho store and speak with the manager (think her name is Nicole). If you bought your city from Bal, she'll let you order another city strap (it's 150 i think?) You can connect the two and have a longer strap.

Thanks for this! My mom called Balenciaga and they flat out told her she couldn't purchase a different strap for a bag. She wants to get a Rouge Cardinal City and buy an additional Town strap in RC. She finds her Town bag too small for her needs, but, she hates carrying shoulder style bags.
Hopefully the SoHo store can make this happen

I'm not sure about purchasing a different strap, but they'll let you purchase a strap for the bags you already have. That's why I said to connect the two.
But who knows, maybe she'll let your mom.

Hi - could you tell me the length of the new Town straps please? thanks...I have the opposite problem, with the new town strap being too short for me! I just got the latest fall anthracite town bag from Erica, the strap is so much shorter than past season! Problem for me is I'm tall and need the full 22.5" drop for it to look right crossbody!
The one I got has a 19' drop at maximum. You can reduce the drop further by about 2'. So probably will suit most people better, but I need a longer one!
