What does everyone think of this satchel? I saw it in Nordstrom's today and I'm thinking of buying it in the almond or green tea. The satchel is slouchy, not structured.

Jem - Agreed, if I buy it it will be for this spring and summer only. Don't see it lasting into next year.

Yes, it seems like a fun summer bag and it's not toooo pricey so I won't feel bad when the love affair is over. I walked by it in Nordstrom's today and I stopped and almost bought it and I wasn't even bag shopping.

You never know, it might be the start of a lasting seasonal relationship. I love how the leather looks on both colors - have you actually fondled one yet?

Yes!!! The SA emptied it for me. The leather is soft and slouchy and a bit like it will sort of get worn in/beaten up with use, in the best possible way. There's a distressed look to the leather.

I know! I'm giving myself a couple days, but it's such a fun bag, and all of my other bags are very, very serious. LOL

Wow, this is a hard decision. I really like both colors, maybe the almond just a tiny bit more for versatility but the green tea is so fresh looking so I'm loving it too!

OK, let's focus on the zipper - which color of zipper do you like better? Now I'm liking the Almond better, because it goes with the bag's color better than the Green Tea. That would decide it for me, right there!

I didn't even notice the zipper!

Here's what went down:

I passed by the bag on the way to the Chanel counter. I stopped and picked up the Almond - that's the bag that caught my eye. The green tea was on the shelf underneath. The SA swooped in, emptied it when he saw me take it to the mirror, and I looked at it. Of course it went perfectly with my outfit. I went and picked up the green. Much to my surprise - it looked also looked phenomenal with my outfit! It's surprisingly neutral. Hence the poll and this thread.

My first instinct was the Almond, but that green is throwing me. The zippers weren't an issue IRL.

eta: looking at those pictures, the zippers on the Almond look better.

I like both of your choices, but my first pick would be the Ivory! I think it's so fresh and summery! Cute bag!!
