What's the private sale exactly? I assume it's obviously something you have to be invited to via email, your TB sales person, etc., but what are the details of the sale...like discount on all items, certain items, and how long does it go on?

Private Sale is a way to clear out inventory. They tend to have them right before new stuff comes in. I think you are automatically invited as long as you are registered on TB.com. It says up to 70% off through Monday. Typically they have Revas for about $20-$30 off and other shoes up to 50% off. The biggest discounts are on clothing. I just logged in so I'm sure all of the good stuff is gone. Handbags seem to be older style (Dena, Patty, Bombe) starting at around 30% discount.

I'm not sure why it's classed as private, it's on Facebook, I looked this morning and there isn't a lot left, there were some great discounts, shoes for $99.00 and bags 50% off

TB outlets have the exact same items as the private sale. All of the Dena continental wallets are $99 - fuchsia, malachite green, cognac, bleach and navy. Filippa espadrilles are also $99. Woodbury Commons TB outlet had patent Royal Tan Millers for $149. I never see this colorway on sale so thought it was worth mentioning.

Thanks, it's the classic mini bag, it's very small and actually it wasn't on my wish list but the dark chain really drew me in. I think I'll break it in tonight.

Mostly older espadrille and wedges. They did have several pairs of the sandals with the fish on the thong part (sorry I do not know their style name).
