Very strange how it's not advertised. I will get the scoop when I go to the boutique today.
The sale is still private and unadvertised. My SA said that they open the sale to clients first to give them "first dibs". It will probably be online and open to the public on Wednesday.
Probably Wednesday since that's when most sales will begin for Black Friday at similar stores, not entirely sure though as I've had myself removed from the client and mailing lists
Ok so this is strange, on a TB Facebook site some people are saying that the sale has started and the code is "Thanks" and others are saying they were in stores yesterday and the shopped the sale.
I tried "Thanks" online and it won't work. I have a SA who I usually shop through but I haven't used him in quite some time because I don't live close so I hate to bother him : /
I have a friend who shopped the sale at the TB boutique, in my area, on Saturday, Nov 19th. She said that there were no signs up, but if you mentioned it you were given 30% off. There were exclusions. She did not have a card or email to show. She got one pair of shoes at 30% off. She paid full price for another pair, as she really wanted them.
This usually works - one year someone bought me a few items from TB and mentioned the sale (they weren't on the list) and they honored the 30% off. I'd say it somewhat depends on the SA as well as the SM though but it doesn't hurt to try.
Thanks does not work. It gives the error of: Promotion code "thanks" cannot currently be added to your cart. whereas just making up a code says: Promotion code "gina" is unknown.
I think had I asked Saturday, she would have given me the 30% BUT the boots I wanted were not in stock and would have had to be ordered anyway. I want to order a couple of other things since I have my $50 and didn't want to stand around deciding in the store. I find it interesting as they pushed online ordering for me in the store but didn't mention the 30% when I was hesitant. To me, that is a poor sales technique.

You could try and do a return and repurchase to get the 30% off as long as you do it during the sale, I did that on a pair of boots on year when I wasn't aware of the sales (or tPF). If it was an online order tell them an SA told you about the sale in-store.
I was told by a SA that the sale will go live online tomorrow morning.
