Toronto 2011 sale

I've been to the two previous sales and both started at 8am but you should arrive early. Be prepared to wait 1-2 hours in line. They usually have mainly accessories and smaller leather goods. The stock gets replenished throughout the day. There were plenty of scarves but not the nicest ones so clearly leftovers from previous years and they sold for $200 each. If you're interested only in the men's accessorries, they are sold in a seperate room and because there is less interest, you can usually get into that room more quickly if you agree to not sneak into the women's room.

I might be there to buy a few scarves for a friend in HongKong. I'm planning to stay in contact with my friend the whole time on iPhone. Do u know if they allow pics to be taken of items? Cuz I might want to send her the pics before I buy for her. If not, my friend will just have to trust my taste. :D

There's the invitation card on the cashier counter at Bloor boutique.

Thursday, May 5, Hermès will host a sale at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, featuring Hermès scarves and ties at 50% off. The sale will take place in MTCC, Room 203 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

It's a special sale in support of Multiple Sclerosis research at St. Michael’s hospital. All sales are final. Telephone and mail orders not accepted.

--- Too bad I'm not in TO at that time :shame:

For those of you who've been to this sale before, can you tell me what types of things they sell? Is it just silk - scarves & ties? Or do they have other things like some of their leather or enamel bracelets?
