Thank you!! The problem is that I already purchased it and it was a special order...not sure, since this is a small boutique, if I can even return or exchange. I'm going to wait to see what he says on Tuesday and kinda demand he get another one....

Your watch is so beautiful 😍
Sadly when ordering mother of pearl, it is a gamble on what you get. I remember when I was shopping for my Rolex, I looked at several mother of pearl dials and they were all so different. Some had a cloudy texture to them and sone were more smooth. Some looked mostly white and others had a variety of pastel colors in the pearl. I went with the pale pink face, because I was too afraid to order the MOP with the bracelet bezel combo that I wanted.
It's scary ordering a mother of pearl dial sight unseen. I'm sure the shop will help you get another one. You should be happy with it and hopefully they will accommodate you. Your choice of watch is stunning!

Yes, I don't know why this didn't occur to me! Especially as I had seen MOP dials that I knew I wouldn't be happy with. This was a very expensive lesson to learn! : (

I have a Cartier tank with a pink MOP face and some VCA jewelry with MOP and they are all so beautiful, esp the VCA...the white MOP shimmers the most beautiful colors! I think I just naively assumed it would work out.

As always, thank youfor your opinion etk! This MOP is definitely is growing on me...every now and then I open the box and take a peek and appreciating it for it's beauty and not trying to compare it to colorful mop! I'm also starting to think that if I end up with the one I have, that maybe the more grey MOP complements the watch better, there's already a lot going on with the watch, perhaps it doesn't need anything else! OY!

In the store they had 3 MOP faces and all 3 looked totally different from each other---one was totally flat and didn't even look like mop, mine which was grey and the 3rd was beautiful. Hope I end up with a pretty one! 😁
