I’ve bought several things from ALLU. I love them, they’re honestly my favorite store! The pricing is pretty fair imo… some items are very, very competitively priced and others are higher due to demand.

I find them very trustworthy. I will say once I was inspecting a Birkin with an SA and spotted signs of mold… when I told her, she ran to get a blacklight right away and confirmed it for me. They took it off the shelf right away. Not sure how they didn’t spot that in QA but at least they were honest about it.

general question on ebay Japan stores
what was the duty you had to pay when received (pre the current tariff situation)
I could never figure it out and decided not to buy
Pre-current tarriff situation, it depends on the item. % base tarriff is based on the item category: eg jewelry, handbags, clothing, further broken down by the material like WG/Platinum/diamonds or not/silk/leather/buttons or not/top handle or not etc. I understand that the tariff is meant to be based on the country of production, for example if it is made in France it should be based on the rates for France even if it is shipped from Japan, but I’m not sure if that is always followed in practice. To get the table, you should go to the Customs website online and you can search through the table for the best match for your item. The seller may categorize it as something slightly different which could change the rate by ~1% or ~10%!

I seem to recall when I bought resale Hermes bags from Japanese resellers during Covid that customs was 10% roughly (I’m based in the US)

ETA: on price paid I think less de minimus amt (800 usd )
