Hello,
We will be heading to Japan in the next few months. Looking for recommendations for pre-loved designer bag stores (mainly for Chanel or LV). My Google searches are providing conflicting information & some stores may be permanently closed now. TIA

I used to watch DCT Vintage Japan a lot on Instagram live and have always wanted to visit them in person when I next go to Japan. I think you just need to make an appt to go to the physical store. They are located in Yokohama, but you can get there by subway/train from Tokyo.

Great, thank you for the tip! I’ll check them out

Hello, just want to check if ALLU Japan (particularly the Tokyo stores) is legit? Any experience with them? Are there other stores you recommend for Hermes bags aside from Ginza Xiamao, Vintage Qoo, AMORE, Atlantis vintage, Daikokuya?

OMG! I just got back from there! Please please don't go to the big ones like AMORE, Vintage QOO, Kindal, you really have to find the smaller ones that arent in the high traffic areas. The prices they had made me sick, and that was even with the 10% discount you get for showing your passport! The only thing I would go there for is if I was rich and I wanted the super rare one of a kind vintage pieces because the condition is SO good. My heart broke when I saw the Chanel Barbie heart bag for 32k 💔💔💔

yeah, vintage stores here are updated on all the trends and brands that are hot, and price accordingly, haha.
Shimokitazawa is a big area that's full of vintage stores in Tokyo. It's just that usually tourists don't really have a lot of time to browse, so I usually recommend the luxury secondhand stores, especially if they're just wanting Chanel or the well-known brands. Smaller stores might also carry them but it's a toss-up on the stock.

Do you have any other specific stores you'd recommend instead? Making a list for my upcoming trip to Japan!! 😁
