Togo leather?

My Gold Togo "K' stamped (2007) Kelly is veiny too. I'm ok with it though would prefer my next Togo to be veinless, for a different look.

On topic but about clemence.

Last week, I saw a Clemence Kelly in store that had more veins on it than I have ever seen on a togo piece. The clemence was large grain....the veins very pronounced.

I was surprised as it also had the mark of a master craftsman and one would think this person has his pick of beautiful Hermes leathers.

I love the vains in togo. I understand it's very personal, but I think they make it so special!

My K stamp togo birkin is slightly veined, whereas my L stamp one is not at all. I love the small grain and veins on the K stamp bag. The L stamped bag looks more like clemence to me. I will see if I can take a side-by-side pic that highlights the difference.

The one we got is K stamped that has veins. Anyone know why would a K stamped bag just be getting to the store in the past week or so?

My K stamp has NO veins at all. I think it all just depends..as with any leather.

My K stamped Birkin 40 Togo is very veiny and has a lot of character...I got her last summer.

I have 2 K-stamped Togos 30s, both are veinless BUT one has large grains, one has medium grains.....

My K stamped Gold Birkin has some veining. My L stamped VA Birkin does not.
I love veining. Wish both my 30cm Birkins had MORE!!

My L stamped togo Birkin has just two faint veins running down the left hand side of the bag, I actually like them....adds character

My chocolat togo has slight veining, it's stamped L, my etoupe has NO veining at all, stamped K. I love both..go figure!

I know this will sound insane, considering how hard it is to get an H bag at all, but can you request veiny or non-veiny leather when you put in your order?
