I don’t think LV
Because they're repetitive, constant, speculative, untrue, drama-causing, #fakenews, need I go on?

I don't need anyone to tell me what I should and shouldn't read, though I appreciate it.
isnt that exactly what you are dictating when you want a certain type of post to be banned? Telling people what they should or shouldn’t post? Easier to move on I would think if it annoys you :)

These exact sources bring news about upcoming launches SKU’s collections etc and we are all fine with it. When it comes to discontinuing products not so much. Read or don’t read. Take it for a fact or not. Isn’t info dissemination a part of TPF. If it does happen then not so much fake news huh?

I don’t understand how anyone would want to run out and buy stuff just because it is getting discontinued. If it’s something you have always wanted to get, then yeah this helps people buy before it’s hard to find. Get something because you want it and not because it’s discontinued. Then these posts won’t impact in any way

I'm not surprised. I would think the Pochette Metis is not a big money maker when it's all said and done because of all the returns and repairs. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's financial loss for them b/c how would I know, but it's the most defective bag I've heard of. And I know I'm like a broken record, but I had 2 defective PMs and the only other defective bag I've had is my Favorite MM which I bought recently with faulty stitching that makes the flap pucker. It bugs me but I kept it as my travel and rainy day bag.

But as for a selling technique that LV is propagating, and that it's a lie so people will BUY BUY BUY, maybe, but I don't do that. I'm not sure how many people do unless it's a bag that's been on their wish list for awhile.

I do regret sometimes that when I heard the Pochette Accessories NM in DE was being discontinued that I didn't buy it. But oh well. I have them in the mono and DA, so no big deal. But there's an example of rumor, I didn't rush out to get it, and now it's gone. That actually happens! There have been many bag that have been "rumored" to be discontinued, and then they were. So, what's the big deal of someone sharing what they heard?

I didn't listen about the Delightful and now, the preloved route is my only option.

Your point about money and PM is interesting.
