If you click on the higher end designer bags on the TJMaxx website you'll notice that they will say "not returnable in store" so that's how they can protect the consumer against fakes.

Good for them! I guess if you don't love your $1500 handbag you just have to mail it back to them!

If I'm in there I'm looking for a bargain but of course that word means different things to different people depending on your economic circumstances!

I heard Balenciagas purses sold at TJ Maxx arent authentic! Is that true? Here we have an outlet 15 min feom house and they have Saks! I go nuts everytime i check there!! Paradise :)

Found today at my local TJ Maxx.....a Margot tote bag in woven leather for $129.00.

So gorgeous I was tempted! They remind me of Bottega Veneta although I've never seen one of those IRL! They retail for thousands of dollars.

I have a Margot bucket bag and it is made from very soft beautiful leather and really high quality for the price. The brand is not French though (despite the name) but originates from Taipei. Actually there are some pretty high end leather artisans from Taiwan so not too surprised.

Thanks for that information on Margo, I had no idea where they were made or anything at all about the company really.
I do know that the bags I've seen in my TJMaxx made by them seem to be very good quality!
I truly wish I had a need for this gorgeous brown woven bag but alas, I just can't justify it at this time......oh well.
Someone else will get lucky!
