Thank you very much for this thoughtful, insightful response! These are all questions I’ve pondered as well. I am using the stone from my original engagement ring in the new ring. My original stone is special to me, and the sentimental value means a lot to me. The first option would be a stand alone that I would
wear as my engagement/wedding ring. I do like the design, and it’s timeless, but the third option is probably more in line with my personal style. I am petite and the wider band in option 1 does look a little larger on my hand. I also like that I would be able to pair option three with the eternity band, or wear it by itself.
