Time for a Yellow bag? Pantone Color of the Year 2021 - Illuminating Yellow (& Gray!)

I love when Pantone chooses its color of the year! Cheers to great choices....Illuminating yellow is just the bright shade we need for 2021! IMHO yellow is way underrated as a great bag color. It adds a pop of color yet coordinates with so much. Looks really great with neutrals like denim, olive, and khaki.

This year I got the Coach Originals Turnlock Clutch in Yolk. LOVE it! It’s more mustardy than Illuminating yellow but that makes it 4-season. A few years ago I had a Rebecca Minkoff mini Julian backpack in yellow and it was great too... I just ended up letting it go because I needed the larger size Julian instead.

I had ~ this Proenza Schouler back in 2015... I love gray and yellow together but was frankly surprised to see Pantone announce these as the colors for next year. Feels like they are like 5-6 years behind the curve on this one.

My yellow is a bit brighter than the Pantone shade, I think. But it does cheer me up

I have an old LV Lussac in yellow too, but I rarely use it now as I feel it gets too heavy on my shoulders.
