For some of reason , it seems that men lose weight faster and easier to me. My hubby retired in March. Since he has stayed home, I cook more as opposed to stopping on the way to work and grabbing some Popeyes, or portillos, or Panda Express. I’m baking and air frying in the oven. He told me that his gut feels like it’s gone down and that his pants were more loose. He says it because I cook more than we eat out.

It feels good that he noticed that about himself. Yet when the monthly bloating comes, ugh I’m frustrated with my waist. Oh don’t get me wrong I have lost a few pounds, but that pms bloat is a monster. Nothing I can really do about that. I buy more salads and fresh fruit and veggies to snack on. I’m enjoying string cheese instead of chips. I’m drinking water and I NEVER used to do that.
It sounds like a healthy approach. Yes, men seem to lose weight faster due to more muscle mass. It is frustrating to watch my husband get to his goal weight in 4 months. He claimed he was never hungry. Grrr!

Yay! You got your bag. I really like the navy color. That bag looks large on the site. Is it heavy?
It's not really heavy empty, but as you can see it a huuuuuuuuuuge monster release the Kraken bag that can hold a whole lot. I haven't tried packing it yet. I am still in awe that it finally came and its sooooooo beautiful...

2 bags are coming tomorrow, the Florentine small Logan in chestnut and the large Logan in Newbury smooth leather in blue. Does anyone have anything in Newbury leather. I could find only a few videos on the large Logan and Newbury leather. from what I can see it's very matte, doesn't show scratches, and is very soft and malleable. My September is ending with a bang. I did my part in helping with the economy...

I'm awaiting your assessment of your 2 new Logan drawstring bags.
If the large Logan is too slouchy, you may want to try a base shaper or
a bag organizer to give the bottom some firmness/stability. Some people are
fine with big, tall, slouchy bags. I prefer the inside of my bags to be somewhat
organized, so I can see where everything is at a glance and my items don't
roam around.

You have clearly done your part in helping the economy. Each of us should
contribute to making our communities a better place. Our tax dollars go a long
way. I've often 'justified' my spending (to myself) in that way. Otherwise,
I just get frustrated by how much sales tax I pay for each handbag.

And of course, US companies employ US workers, and that's good too...
even if some of the production is done outside the US. We live in a very
interconnected world. Balancing things is a challenge. Going out of the
country for the cheapest items (as a consumer or a manufacturer) isn't
always the best option. Sometimes it's hard to assess the short and long term
factors.

MORNING LJ… I figure I’m also helping with recycling too. Lol pre loved bags are not going to waste…. Thanks for the tip on a bag organizer. I like that idea and will measure the base to see what’s out there, Amazon should have a nice selection to choose from. Mind you I’m not gonna be stuffing any bag to the brim. The pouches I have might work out nicely For organization.
I’m sipping a little coffee writing my grocery list, always forget something without my list. Hoping to enjoy this last day of September. Man this month just flew by.

You did have a very busy month! And yes, buying preloved handbags is good for the
planet. Not only do you save the bags from a landfill, but the life of the raw materials is extended so they that's another benefit to the planet.
