Received my small 18k pendant today. Here are some photos! Super cute although heavy. The ball box is nice. Do I think it’s worth $10k with tax, I’m not convinced. Wonder if this is why it is not returnable. Guessing how many were made including the large gold pendant and the oxidized silver models, LVMH T made out like a bandit. Again, IMHO.

I was wondering why the ball wasn't listed for sale. Now I know it's the box for the yellow gold Pikachu. Congratulations! I love it!

Prices range from $1290 to $29,000. Silver pieces come with a co-branded box while the gold pieces arrive in the Tiffany blue pokeball.

Side note but I’m always fascinated by the behind the scenes of when artists use licensed imagery in their art. I assume they must approach the company to use the symbol with some prototypes or is it the other way around? What makes this art rather than the endless pile of churned out plastic landfill fodder most merch is? So many questions….

Looking at collection- of course the pokeball is excellent and just about anything looks great in that Tiffany turquoise/blue but I don’t love the way the Pokémon are styled. Why do they have bite marks in them? And their faces look a bit blank so it’s a little creepy. I will say I love Pikachu’s diamond cheeks - they are very cute.

…Ok so I understand what the note marks are trying to replicate in the art eg:

But I gotta say if this is what they are trying to replicate then the jewellery needs at least one geode in the holes but maybe it’s hard to get them into such small drill holes IDK I feel like the crystals are the point of the artworks.

Wow!!! Beautiful!!! The ball case is just as beautiful as the actual pendant lol! Is the silver part a sterling silver ball???

Why do they have bite marks in them?

"Why do they have bite marks in them?" I can possibly answer that. As a Pokemon Go player, you need to use your pokemons in battles and raids, they get damaged fighting other players' pokemons (but there are lots of items to restore them). Thus, battle scars being repaired and mended in this design.
(I personally don't like these battles and I only like collecting/catching them).
