Yes! It surprisingly fits alot. The max carry-on dimensions allowed are 9×14 ×22 including wheels and handles. I have included photos of my previous carry-on for comparison. The body is only 18inches but its actually 20inches if you include the wheels and handles because the wheels are elevated. With the globe trotter the wheels are within the case so it meets the max carry-on dimensions but with the globe trotter holding more.
I am able to fit more in the globe trotter beacuse of the extra 2 inches and as its just a box while the hard top carry-on has an upper compartment and zippers which wastes a lot of space and don't hold as much. I was able to fit enough clothes in here for about a weeks worth of travel (it can still fit more but i don't want it to get too heavy).
