I visited one of the boutique located in Yorkville, Toronto this Thursday and I asked the SA how was the traffic this week and she said it was really busy on Tuesday for "some" reason. Not sure if it's because of the price increase or what.

I personally was not aware of this price increase but it does happen, I'm glad I purchased my couple rings prior to it. I probably saved around $100 (with HST). :D

So far the toggle necklace I just got (and the bead earrings) are still the same price. But I've noticed some small changes to other silver pieces. For example, the small open heart went from $250 to $265, and the 9mm SS bean went from $135 to $150.

I also note the SS dbty rose too, eg the .03 went from $270 to $290.

But the gold items.... OMG! The mini bean jumped from $775 to $905! And the yg oval key on a chain jumped from $750 to $845!

That's a large jump in price for the gold items! There were a few gold items I was considering but now I don't think I want them anymore :sad::sad:

So I went into the store yesterday to buy something from my (very long) wishlist before the price increase (it is also mother's day in the UK today) and I had a look at 4 items. I ended up buying one of them and now I check and its is the ONLY one which did not go up in price.... So So annoyed

I don't think I will be getting anything from Tiffany anymore because of the price increase except for 2 pieces which is on my wish list ( Jean Schlumberger sixteen stone ring in YG with diamonds & sapphires and Tiffany Soleste Fancy Yellow pendant) but that will not happen anytime soon or even this year. For now, I am done with Tiffany.

I am similarly annoyed... I bought the Frank Gehry micro torque ring in rose gold yesterday, only to find it was the only item on my wishlist that didn't increase. Likely because it is discontinued, but still...

I just checked the Canadian website today and none of the pieces I was interested went up! I only looked at the SS items though (ex. mini bead bow, tiffany notes ring)

This is my first post, i have been lurking for a little while. I .am in the US

I am pretty bummed about this price increase. I have about 5 things currently on my "wish list" and everything went up! :( Also the wb SO wants went up from 2400 to 2500 and the shared prong .56 ct wb i want went up from 4895 to 5100! UGH i was already feeling SICK over the price being 4895...i thought that was redic for a wedding band.:tdown:

Tell me about it.. I'm planning to get the Novo wedding band and the price increased from 2000 to 2175 and I thought 2000 is already too $$$ for a wedding band. Looks like almost everything esp in gold went up 100 - 200 in price. :nogood:

I have definitely filled up my Ebay watch list. :)

You're in Canada as well, right? I'm afraid of what the duties might end up being on such a large purchase. This is the whole reason why I ended up buying my Love cuff directly from Cartier rather than going for an Ebay "deal" and then paying just as much when all is said and done.

i'm watching some of the victoria pendants that are in the .25 range so the smaller size....i'm deciding between treating myself to this or the platinum and diamond daisy bracelet from tiffanys....decisions!

I know customs can be brutal, i've had customs charge anywhere from 20% to 40% for an item :S...

and yes I'm on the west end of Toronto in Mississauga :smile1:

the deals for the loves on ebay are not even that great! there's a few that are maybe 1500 under retail but after shipping and customs fees, might as well buy a new one like you did!
