nc.girl, that was exactly my thought when I looked down on it on my finger: it matches perfectly (I am 5'10'').
Once in a while, tall women get served, most of Tiffany's rings look too tiny on my hand.
Oh...I love these rings! I'm 5'10" too, long fingers...have to check them out.nc.girl, that was exactly my thought when I looked down on it on my finger: it matches perfectly (I am 5'10'').

I love the cut and the size (8.5ct!!!) and everything about this ring. Here is a picture of mine. In natural daylight it is very lemony.
I just need to grow a little bit then, LOL. I'm 5'2" and wear a 4.75 or size 5 in rings. I'm afraid it would be way too bulky on me. Sucks, because I'd looove to have one of these!
yes, that's true and so amazing: I mean it is a huge stone but not OTT.They are definitely a statement piece because they are bold, sparkly, and will totally grab your attention but Tiffany is great in that their designs are constrained so the ring isn't OTT!!
I have the same ring in Amethyst (deep purple)! Love it to bits (especially the cushion cut) but I have yet find the occasion to wear it... I wish I would have tried all the different colors in person before I make the purchase.
The setting is very classic looking and I think you can wear it for many years to come. I am not too sure about the durability, though, on the semi-precious stones in this size. It's probably just me.
Wendy,
they have the dark yellow in the store, but not my size. The SA ordered the greenish one in my size and just in case I prefer the dark yellow over the greenish one, she could order that one in my size, too.
That's a good point - the durability and how easily it might get scratched.
A very good point you made here!
There has been too much Amethyst been around in my family (mum, grandmother), I need something fresh!
