Tiffany soleste oval yellow diamond: double or single halo?

Love the oval! And love it as is, honestly. Keep in mind if you go down to a single halo it will have less presence/space on the finger. Not good or bad, just a consideration. They’re all gorgeous!

They will remount for me for free from this 1.31 carat oval to single halo. On top of that, they will revise the price to match that of a single halo. From what I heard, there isn’t a single halo oval in stock at all...downside is that the remount service will take 2 months!

I had a similar experience last year, but I went to pear shape after trying the oval and comparing several stones. They did the remount and I did it in yellow gold instead of platinum, you can search my post as a reference.

Also want to remind you that the newly released single halo seleste has a thinner band and halo in pear shapes, not sure about oval shapes. You may want to confirm with your SA about the size/width of band and halo before sending it for remount. Mine came with a thin halo which I didn't like so my ring is at their jewelry shop for another remount now.

I loooooove the pear. That would definitely be my choice looking at the centre stones only.

I’m sure you’ve already made your decision by now but I have to say that I love that pear! Actually I love both, but I have a weakness for pears... I do think the double halo suits the oval and the single halo suits the pear, though. If you do go for oval I would keep it as is!
