Legacy in white diamonds or the beset in yellow diamond. I know everyone on this forum is in love with the soleste, but personally, I think it borders on tacky. The double halo is just not my thing.

I don't think the soleste is tacky at all. I think the micropave work is delicate and akin to yummy icing. Obviously I am one of its greatest admirers ;)

However, I was debating between the two back when I was looking at engagement rings and I prefer the soleste with the yellow diamond, as Candice said earlier, or a white diamond for the legacy. I love the white diamond soleste but I feel the center diamond gets lost amongst the glory of the double halo whereas the bead set border of the legacy (which is less blingy) showcases the center a little better. The price point for the same carat is always higher for the legacy as well, so it really depends on how much you're willing to spend! But both are gorgeous, you can't go wrong with either!

Pinkscooter - Congrats on your new RHR! What size did you end up with? Do you know if the yellow soleste costs more or less than white?

I think the yellow diamonds are priced similarly to white. So a fancy yellow is priced the same as an h/I diamond, fancy intense priced at g/f and vivid at d/e.
