This is such a horrible story, I hope they can get it rehallmarked for you! I will only go through Tiffany to get my work done, specifically for this reason. I also had to go through hell to get verification letters beyond my receipt and ON Tiffany Letterhead just because I want to prove to any interested buyer that it's legit.

The Lucida has always been my favorite Tiffany stone, I was so disappointed when they stopped making it. Looks wonderful on you!
I received the quote back today. It is $145 to rehallmark and put the patent number stamping back on, I am so relieved. There was also a hair line from resizing that needed to be fixed. It'll be another 2 weeks till I get the ring back. Cant wait to get it back, I only had it in my possession for 5 days.
Glad they will be able to do it and $145 is not bad. The wait would be worth it, your ring will come back like a brand new ring.
That price doesn't seem bad at all! The hairline from resizing- do you think you'd contact the seller about that? They sized it for you right?
The seller has 'offered' to pay for this. To be honest I want nothing to do with him anymore. I find him very frustrating to deal with. I will not be promoting his business to any family or friends lets put it that way.
Please post lots of pix when you get it back! Glad it worked out perfectly in the end!
I picked up the ring today. All the serial numbers and hallmarks have been redone. So so relieved and happy. Will ad some pix in a few hours.
