Tiffany Ring Cleaning, how often do you go get it cleaned in store?

Which store is this? If they are going to start charging for this, I bet it will affect their sales. One of their sales pitch is the free polishing service for their fine jewelry.

I live in NY. The Westchester Tiffany location has a sign up for it with official pricing on their customer service desk where they do the cleaning. My husband called customer service after we spoke with them at the store. They said their policies change all the time and the only guarantee with your ring is around the diamond.

If I may suggest an alternative. Tiffanys sells / provides a complimentary solution for cleaning their fine jewelry / diamonds when you purchase them. That solution is actually very effective. I usually soak my diamond rings in the solution for a couple hours (I have realized soaking it overnight makes it shinier but not sure if this is advisable, but I do it pretty often and don't see anything happening to my diamond or band). When you're done, use the brush provided to scrub it AND you can use the Tiffany silver cloth to polish too. I know they use the ultrasonic machine with their solution and the cloth back there.

Other option is soap and water and use a brush to scrub as a daily routine. I sometimes find that soap and water whilst washing my hands always cleans it up and does bring out the shine

I'm always bummed to hear people having less than perfect customer service at Tiffany. I've never come across it personally, I've always been lucky to have really nice SAs that go above and beyond even when browsing and not making a purchase, whether I'm in grubby clothes or nice clothes.
I guess the cleaning is free lifetime and the buffing and polishing has always been a paid service? I didn't realize that.
