My friend had the ball chain & it broke while she was putting it on. She said when she returned it the SA told her that other ppl had the same problem. She exchanged it for the oval link chain which seems to be OK.

The Peretti letter I have is L which I like because it's a simple loop. The N looks pretty. It's not as abstract as some other letters, but it still looks nice.
I have this in the letter S and the chain snapped on me. Tiffany fixed it for free.
I think I posted pic of the snapped chain here as well. Its pretty but it gets smudged easily.
Its a nice necklace in the sense that it goes with almost everything and is a good size. I have my kids' names engraved on it. I wouldn't call it a everyday necklace though because of the fragile chain.

I got the Notes Letter Charm. The one you want is 3/4" and will flip and that chain is just hideous and even my SA told me it isn't a good buy.
I LOVE my Notes Letter Charm. It's a 1/2 inch with a jump ring so it doesn't flip. I already had a standard Tiffany 18" chain and it's just lovely. I'll post a pic in a minute.

LOL Yeah, for a sec I thought the note letter charms were discontinued because I clicked a link from four years ago that was no good anymore, I panicked and told my BF. He told me to call all the stores in Vegas (we have about four or five in the valley lol) and see if any of them had an E left and he would buy it for me as an early mother's day. Then I found the correct link and told him nevermind, I could wait but he told me he'll get it for me now anyway, and we can go to the Tiffany's at Caesar's Palace and dinner in their Cheesecake Factory

I tried on an oval link chain... hated it. It only looks good if it's laying perfectly and it's just not smooth and silky like the regular chains. It might be good in the longer lengths but, I really didn't like it.

Yes the oval link looks better longer. maybe nicer with a key. OH I would love to visit LV - Caesar's palace and have heard about the cheesecake factory - yummy...
