Tried on the narrow bangle against with my Love and I think I've found the perfect piece! Sizes are the same as the previous post (Love 17, Lock Small), and I won't stop thinking about it until it's locked permanently onto my wrist! I really like the original Lock sizing but find that it clashes too much with what I already have on.

The only thing I have to say is that, as with the standard Lock, the narrow is very light - I think a little too light for my liking. I prefer my gold pieces to feel considerably heavy on me. Not sure what others think, but overall enamoured!!

Does anyone's lock bracelet rattle in the closed position? It looks like there's a little bit of play between where the thin half enters the thicker half. There's a bit of metal-on-metal rattling noise both when squeezing the bracelet in the closed position as well when as jiggling it side to side. .

Yes mine does. I wonder if it’s normal or not?

I wear my lock bracelets almost daily and haven’t noticed any rattling sounds or any other issues with these clever bracelets. I wonder if oil is needed.

I remember hearing that Tiffany could oil Lock bracelets, although I believe this was in connection with difficult to open/close Lock bracelets.

If you hold the bracelet in the closed position by the thicker half and shake it, yours does not make any sound?

Here's how mine sounds:

Yes, one of my Lock bracelets has the same rattle as your video. The other one is not as loose and doesn't do that. You could check in with your SA if you could exchange for another piece.

@acceptable , I think I now I understand what you mean. I have two Half Pave Lock bracelets, and they do make a sound, but only if I shake them. I have never shaken them until this morning, at your request. I also have the Baguette and Half Pave Lock, which is far more substantial and doesn't make a sound when shaken. I'd buy these all again in a heartbeat because they're so wearable, comfortable, easy to put on and take off, modern and unique.

The sound you've videoed is because there has to be some "give" to be able to swing the smaller side around to open and close the bracelet. Does your Lock bracelet make this rattling sound while you're wearing it? If so, please take it to Tiffany for repair. That is not normal.

Also, I'm wondering if there was some reason you thought to shake your Lock bracelet. If so, please explain.

Thanks for the responses folks!
The bracelet generally does not make a noise when wearing it; only if I bump into something does it make a little "ping" noise or if I'm intentionally fidgeting with it.
I figured maybe they had to create some gap between the pieces to allow for ease of open and closure.

Mine does not rattle unless I shake it too. Also wondering the same as you. What prompted this?

I noticed that it rattles sometimes when I'm wearing it and I tap the bracelet with my opposite hand (or even sometimes picking up the bracelet and transferring it from hand to hand). I made a video shaking the bracelet to essentially exaggerate the rattling sound to highlight what I was referring to. Otherwise, in regular usage, I likewise do not see a reason to intentionally shake the bracelet.
