Hi! I agree with jimmie station. Tiffany leather is great. My one pet peeve is with their zippers. I find them to be very rough and they do not open and close smooth. An example is their pouches. I had two of them for travel. The zipper is rough it scratched up my skin a few times (as in, it cut me, band-aid time). With my Chanel items, that has never happened.

So just be sure you can live with that rough zipper if you are looking at any of those pieces. It annoyed me so much I stopped using them and got rid of them. A shame really as the leather is beautiful. Super soft too and I love the grain.
I concur willeyi, great thing about the color transfer on my pouch, it was the one with the rough zipper. I was able to exchanged it for the envelope style pouch that has a silver snap in the front engraved with the logo Tiffany & Co.. Problem solved. Plus I liked the size of the envelope pouch versus the zippered pouch... the envelope pouch was more my esthetic... wasn't as feminine looking as the zippered pouch. I'm a dude that wanted to add the Tiffany blue color to his accessory game.

Hi! You got me curious as I think I might like the envelope one too! But I can’t seem to find it online. Can you find it and please share the link or photo?

Thank you.

willeyi, i saw this one at Tiffany & Co in NYC, Fifth Avenue, and I was floored at how beautiful it is in person ! I thought long and hard about getting it even though it is listed as a Womens tote, I'm secure enough in my manhood to not let that be an issue... I didn't buy it because there was no way in the world that I would be able to keep it looking this pristine forever. Once it gets dirty or even the slightest smudge, it is impossible to clean without ruining the Tiffany blue color. I don't mind the fact that it would look like I was a walking billboard for Tiffany & Co... I am a walking billboard for so many other luxury brands already... I have some of every luxury item from every luxury house I think, well at least my top 10. I wound up getting the Gucci Supreme Portfolio Patch Portfolio and the Gucci Supreme Patch Tote Bag....talking about a walking billboard... lol. Easier to keep pristine looking without having to baby it. I just fill my tote and my portfolio with beautiful luxury accessories from every luxury house. The Tiffany & Co. leather accessories in the Tiffany Blue color pops when I open my bags. I have orange leather accessories from Hermes, red leather accessories from Cartier, Louis Vuitton monogram accessories, Gucci accessories, Burberry, etc.... the list goes on and on. Thanks for sharing and bringing me back wonderful memories of when it was safe and normal to go to NYC Fifth Avenue and shop inside of Tiffany & Co.
Seems like it was so long ago...72 days and counting.

Hi willeyi, the Tiffany & Co. pouches are no longer. I purchased a small, and wanted to go back and get the medium and the large, but to no avail. I would hate to show you something you cant get anymore. I will dig through some of my pictures in my phone to see if it's still in there and post. I did post a picture of it in the Tiffany thread some time ago along with my Tiffany & Co Twin Bell Alarm Clock and other accessories. You can Google the image if you type in 'Tiffany Leather Envelope' in the meantime.

Now you make me want to go and try it on for a third time! I could flip the Tiffany logo toward me, and people would think it’s just a happy turquoise colored tote.
Hmmm.... that might work.

On the color, it’s too bad color transfer happened to you, but I do think it was an anomaly.

I have a lot of light colored totes (all from Chanel though), and I have not had any issues with color transfer at all.. even my white ones.

I will say the lighter colors show wear on the corners a bit faster. But I don’t mind a sort of beat-up tote. It’s got that cool used luxury vibe look.

Try it on again! The tote is cut so a guy could wear it, and the wide strap looks great too... so summery!

Ugh... now I feel I need to check it out again! [emoji2]

I know, right ? Decisions Decisions. It is a really HOTT bag. You are right about the turning it over, and if and when you change your mind about the logo, you still have the option. Maybe you are right about the color transfer, I am still scared to risk it with this size bag and my lifestyle. I can be unintentionally rough on a tote. I have a Burberry Nova Check Tote in fabric, and one of the corners gave, I also have a Thom Browne for Brooks Brothers cloth huge wide tote in red, and the dirt It would pick up was really interesting. Although, I consider them to be "fun" bags for the beach, the park to put food, wine and a blanket for going on a date, cook outs, etc.... so I didn't go too crazy over dirt and stuff... they weren't uber expensive compared to my other totes. I am going to look again at this Tiffany Tote when the store opens back up. I never stopped wanting this item.

Hi jimmie staton, we crossed posts! So sorry to hear you have had problems. Perhaps my info is out of date as I’ve had my holder such a long time. Also thinking about it, basically my passports stay tucked away in a secure pocket where they hopefully can’t get stolen, so probably wouldn’t come in contact with anything else.

Tiffany does have such great customer service doesn’t it?
Hello purplepoodles, Yes... we did cross posts, lol. I didn't have a problem with my Tiffany blue color patent leather items. It was the Tiffany blue leather zip pouch in small. It was color transfer from the suede lining from a new dark bag. As a matter of fact, even the tiny white packet that comes with new items even turned the color of the lining.
Tiffany & Co. customer service is the very best always.

Yeah I was worried the color might be a bit much. And I don't like being a screaming advertisement for brands.
I think I need to see it in person again.
Hello A bottle of Red, It all depends on your preference. There was a time in my life that I didn't do logo branded anything, no one ever knew... and I would always get logo branded items and would Thank them, then put them up and never use it.... now I love logos, and went digging in my archives of old gifts I received over the years to enjoy items that are no longer available. Maybe in a year or two I wont be into logos... or maybe I will. What ever adds to my joy at the time is what I am into.

From what I understand, Tiffany purchased Lambertson Truex to make their leather goods. Lambertson Truex was a really reputable Italian brand. I haven't purchased any Tiffany leather goods, but what I've seen and felt in stores seems high quality. If you're concerned about color transfer I recommend avoiding any light colored leather, especially patent leather, including Tiffany Blue items.
